This time bit different - trip to Thailand in August 2024

Day 8

In bed at 2 am, air was quite pleasant so I decided to risk malaria and slept with opened balcony door only to wake up at 10 to the sound of rain. So much for sightseeing but no harm done as I was in PP before quite a few times.

Armed with umbrella I went for breakfast to Dolce Vita restaurant and on my way back  got a haircut for extortionate 3$. I know that price is 2$  but allowed myself to be fleeced from extra dollar.

As my  room was quite opulent I did not mind to outwait rain inside. Early afternoon it eased up I walked to Paradise massage above Prince of Cambodia bar. They had 3 boys on duty , I picked most suitable. 1.5 hr massage 15$. It wasn’t bad at all. At one point I made some well understood moves, accepted resulting proposal for 20$ extra tip  and we started chapter 2.  Not fireworks but very pleasant , so pleasant that I upped tip to 25$ on departure earning squeak and extra kiss.

Supper in the same Polish place, nice to have  a break from Asian fare. Then rain started again but I braved myself to walk to Space Hair along the river in that drizzle. It what umbrellas are for.

At the bar nice surprise , one of yesterday’s guy absent but another one present, one whom I met bit closer on two occasions. That built hopes for the night but it did not work as I hoped- my question was pre-emptied when he said he is taking bus to province at 5 am. At opportune moment I asked ‘husband “ about possibility of checking my rare Angkorian coin  collection and we even exchanged Line to facilitate particulars  but I hoped in vain as answer came “I can not”.

So no trophy this time but since there it’s always a bonus and hard to get one   I was not disappointed going home empty handed and bit imbibed with  gin and tonic. I had fun and it’s all what counts. Sure oiled with some money but I always stick to my Mom’s mantra – you don’t have money for vacation, don’t go until you have.

Day 9 

Another mosquito free night sleeping by open window. I packed little I had with me , went to Dolce Vita for breakfast and right on the street caught remork ( motorized rickshaw) to the airport. Cheap at 5 $ and even in morning traffic it took us perhaps 30 – 40 minutes to get there.

I took care to makes sure my daypack is wrapped arround my leg as bag snatching is not unknown in PP and I even know people  who were victims of that ON THE SAME DAY THEIR FLAT BACK HOME WAS BURNED. Talk about bad luck accumulation. I was not as stupid as them though and had passport and money on me , not in the luggage.

My flight was at 11 am, breeze through immigration at Swampy ( I flew back with Thai Viet Air, one of stewards was super handsome hunk and in one moment he sent me to stratosphere when he bent to pick up something and hit my elbow with his steely and shapely buttocks , yum !!!).

Raya had room ready for me , not the same I had before but identical few doors further.

I went to UNESCO listed Foodland for my newly discovered treat of rice chicken soup, very yummy and economic treat at 62 baht. At 4.30 on the dot as arranged through the Line  former Jey Spa masseur came and we had super good time despite language barrier but technology helped.

Not that we talked that much as we found more sinful things to do. He was even more active than before – advantage of knowing your client I guess.

 Endearing part – knowing that I know one of his friends he suggested I will hire him one day as he doesn’t have much business  lately. Promised and executed (promise , not boy ) on my last full day.

3000 well spent which is in line with what I was paying him at Jey (1250 room +1800 tip) when he was there.

After he left soon after I ha pleasure to wish Happy Birthday to Bkkmjf who arrived to Raya yesterday and has his birthday today. I was glad to hear he did not waste  previous day but spent it discussing water diversion of Parana river with certain hunky specialist  I introduced  to him previously. That professional was in turn introduced to me by Spoon  few years ago so as you can see it’s all in gentlemanly circle.

After exchanging news accumulated since last week when we dined in Pattaya we went to UNESCO etc.  to meet other member for another hour and half of gentlemanly talk, subject of which you can easily imagine.

Today is not only Bkkmfj birthday , it also \p birthday party for Jessica , one of Moonlight mamasans , event well publicized by Moonlight and  it was right business move. When we arrived at 9.30 it was full already to a degree they had bit problem of sitting us together.  

10 models were on the stage in front of which mid aged farang was sitting with his entourage including my favorite from Moonlight Y and # 10 I’m salivating about since May. Thay distributed shots with 100 baht note, custom I don’t particularly like but I guess nobody is forced to drink for money. Tips were flowing freely as well as 1000 baht garlands, some models got quite a few of those but every one at least one. You know now what I meant by good business move. Birthday girl herself was  beautiful and made sure she talked briefly with everybody present. So it was lots of fun. Yes there was show and floor boys had their chance to present themselves as well. Several of them were treated with thar forced drink and 100 baht notes too.

It's nice to party but I did not forget about  real life. I noticed #27 is trying to make an eye contact frequently , perhaps too frequently to a degree I felt bit pressed but after a while he went to see other clint at opposite side of bar, enriched by 100 baht tip as he was passing by me.

I usually off only boys who are trying to make eye contact or sent some signal toward me some other way- smile etc. but today , no doubt pushed by the devil I decided to tempt the fate. I was eying certain guy on the stage but cant sat he did the same and decided on the game. I will ask my ember friend whom he likes the most and if he picks up the same guy I will of him , if not  I will worry what to do.

Yes, he pointed at the same guy saying “  I think you will like him” so fate spoke. I waved boy over, of course bypassing  leechy mamasan just to annoy him bit more and over drink we agreed on his visit in my room.

Soon we were marching ( floridarob, did you hear that? ) to Raya, not that it was long walk. In the room I realized I made another omission but not asking in the bar about time.

So what about now ? LT , no problem 6000. Ouch no, I pay 4000 max. No, What about ST ? 3000 and he was firm and we settled on that. Professional side was impeccable , he was in doggy position immediately  but it’s not how I operate . I like fake romance and taking things slowly, fuck and go is not my style but certainly it was what he  came here for. So our meeting was brief and kind of uncomfortable for both of us. Not before long he suggested he wants ‘ cash and go” and I clearly seeing   we are not matching paid  up by dues and bit upset I let him go after less than 1 hr., not my style at all.   

Later on I saw him on Grindr and while  picture was accurate it was made way the he looked much more massive than in reality. I can ‘t say he misled me as he had good case claiming the same , clearly we weren’t made for each other although I like his face , body and even that readiness for work on the spot.

Bit uneasy I combed Grindr and noticed Dreamboys master kisser so asked about  finishing night with me. ‘How much you give me?” was question at 2.30 am. 2500 was my response.

2500 I can see you for max 1 hr, 4000 max 2 hrs  was price list I got in response so I said ‘thank you but no, thank you “ . so it looks I couldn’t celebrate neither bkkmfj’s  not Jessica’s  birthday in style I’d like.

and @vinapu this is the BEST part of being a member of this forum - that we can meet with other members like yourself and share gossip and the access to the men that we have similar tastes in - and your guy that you recommended to me back in May - was my choice for my birthday and he was great.

Well I truly appreciated what style that we made on my birthday - as it was a birthday that I will remember for many years - as I truly enjoyed being with you and the other forum member at dinner and then Moonlight to celebrate Jessica's birthday - and in secret it was also my birthday - as I was able to piggy-back off all of the amazing positive birthday energy that was in the air that night at Moonlight.  Thanks 😘

I asked a friend who was sitting in front of us that I know from Pattaya and he told me that he is a famous Thai rapper singer.  I downloaded a list of the top 200 most famous male singers in Thailand and none of those photos matched this guy in the above photo.

I've been out with him maybe more than 20 times since last year.

But the biggest lesson I learned from him : never establish an heart bond with a bar boy. ln my opinion,  being too sincere brings  resentment, jealousy, lies and separation. 

Lately I'm happier being a butterfly in my holidays.

That party in the bar was great. Would be greater if leechy mamasan would leave us alone. I should mention embarassment he caused for both us and boy when he brought him without an invitation.

Dreamboys 500, XBoys apparently 800  but it needs to be confirmed  as last time I offed it was still 500, BoyzBoyzBOyz 1050  !!!!!!!!! as per mamasan, Toy Boys 500.

Supertown no idea but last time I offed from there it was 300 from @Home bar

Unfortunately I did not manage to off him yet. First time I saw him in May he was taken by my friend who was very happy with him.

This trip on both occasions he was engaged by time I made my mind. But not losing him from my radar and hope to see him on my next trip in Jan 2027., if only because I like his manly face I can look at for 37 minutes without blinking an eye. 

As for heart  bond I already commented above ' you want love in Thailand, rent it".

Multiple offs usually going in one of two different ways, either it gets better and better each time as both sides are more familiar with each other personality and  needs or complacency on boys part and boredom on our part sets in and soon we start wondering what was so special about guy in question.

I'd love to hear your story but understand why you rather be mum about it.

On this trip my attempts to butterfly backfired as most of  new guys pissed me off to  a degree while known quality behaved  and delivered.

For example, it told me to sleep on the plane and I wasn’t able to completely do that. However, I simply put on an eye mask and rested in complete darkness when I could not sleep.  It worked. I really had almost no jet lag at all and I am going to use this for all of my future international trips.  I highly recommend it.  

I was fine on arrival in Europe as well as on return home.

Day 10

In the morning I sent Line to my Dreamboys Pattaya guy that I’m back in Bangkok and I’m ready to host him here as we discussed week ago. Message was read but not responded to till I reported on last day that I’m about to go home. Clearly he was not interested which is too bad as I liked him and also would be happy to be his Bangkok Guide since he claimed to never been in capital other than MorChit bus station.

Since I had breakfast included in room rate and my boy left long time ago I invited bkkmfj to accompany me and salvage that unused half. Nice talk as always.

In the room surprise Line message from V ,  freelancer guy I hosted few times but lost contact with recently. He claimed to be surprised I’m in Bangkok and he sent me his ‘hallo’ thinking I’m still home. Asked him when he can come and answer was immediate  “noon till 2 to 2 today”.

Few hour later I picked him up from downstairs for our reunion. I did not see him more than year but he did not change at all, muscular charming , down to earth and well equipped. All at once. Our gymnastics were bit rushed but at least I understand it as he works 3-11 pm and did not want to be late for work.

Settling bill  -  bit of surprise as he asked 500 more than my usual 2000 but I gladly paid this up even if bit surprised. If V is asking for more, end of world is near was my impression as he was always happy with whatever his tip was.

Almost end of my trip and I still needed to take 2 hr. nap in the afternoon. It was darkening when I went to MBK to buy new suitcase and handle of mine broke. Zillion of people and it looked that almost all shoppers were Middle Easterners.

On my way back message from Y, one of my best guy ever whom I invited tonight for some stamp sorting work. “ Will you pick me up from bar or you want me to come to your room directly ?”

Instructed him to   come to the room promising to give him money for off fee right away. Which I did immediately after he crossed door. Business is business. He told me he wanted to be on good terms with mamas an and dropped by the bar and paid his fee already.

Since we both were hungry I suggested we cross the road to Happy Beer Garden and have meal there. Joy the waitress who calls me ‘ my dad” and claims we are the same ‘ you like boys and I like boys” welcomed us heartily and was treated with usual big bottle of Chang . Always  fun in that place although is not cheap as my bill for two , tip plus Joy’s beer came to 1200 .

Often when we off boys several times complacency shows up   but definitely not a case with Y. Honestly I had impression he was even  more active   and more clingy that before. His  company doesn’t come cheap but he is worth every single baht he asked for.  As usual since he is shackled by his girl he need to leave by 3 and in case he forgot there was call at 2.50 with reminder I guess.

Not that he run away immediately but at 3.20 he left me to my own devices. That I don’t mind because he keeps his integrity, informs me always about his time limit well in advance so no those ‘my bike parked wrong spot’ stories . He is whole gem of he guy and not only his personality heart is big let me tell you. I told him I will see him again on my last day during day . It must be somebody reliable and sexy at the same time when trip is wrapping up, no?

@vinapu, thanks for sharing and I like the fact through your travels and multiple encounter with multiple boys and which some you reportedly were great, you continue to maintain that boundary (like you said, if you seek love - rent it). 

Especially that you are also looking for that experience through LT but nonetheless still recognize that boundary.

I said it many times, reason I like Long Time is not to nurture non existing love, is pleasure of waking up in the morning or in the middle of the night and having warm man right beside.

And we can t overlook simple fact , longer we are with guy , better chances we can connect with him on human level , to know them better and to let them know us better too. 

1 hr of fuck and go may release our or boys tensions but I'm looking for more, it's why I hate those who promise longer session and right away are looking for ways to cash in and escape. I understand their motivations but understanding is not liking, far from it.

Prices are driven by market. You still may have boy in BKK for 500 if you go hunting around Saranrom Park at night. and at another end of scale are Moonlight models , some of them ask for 7000 even 8000 for short time max 2 hr. 

One of Jey Spa guys suggested all nighter for 10000 as I reported in May.

Some bars in Pattaya are asking for 800 and 1050 off fee, chances are boys from there may polish our shoes for 1000 but not necessarily allow use of their back door or get dirty with ours.

I , as everybody,  don't like recent surge in prices which I consider excessive greed on part of boys but we only have two viable options, negotiate fees down which may or may not be successful . I was surprised by how firm few guys were.

Or look for cheaper alternatives, most boys in Saphan Kwai still are happy with 1000 baht tip and those are Bangkok prices too.

People who , like me are into hunks have it harder and again it's market, Twinks abound everywhere but if you want muscle you must do your search. Chances are , rare species will charge accordingly.

And last issue is - did we come there to have fun way we like or to save money on cheap fucks ? None of those is right or wrong, just different priorities we have.  I still am not sure that passing that 10000 offer was right thing. Sure I saved money but guy was great personality and had body straight from Olympus. Where one get such boy where we live for 300 USD  for overnight ?

so instead of complaining about fees boys are charging and customers are (over) paying we should focus on how to have kind of fun WE like without going bankrupt or infected by STD.
