TotallyOz Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 As I have been told by friends that this place is a must go, I plan to head there today to give it a try. I'll report back on my meal. Are there any recommendations for sandwiches. I like just about anything except Pastrami. Quote
firecat69 Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 The whole point of a Deli is Pastrami. Did you really live in NYC. OK well have Corned beef or Lox something that you can't get at Subway . After all that is the point of Street Life to provide you with the kind of Deli sandwiches not available elsewhere in Thailand!!! Quote
Gaybutton Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 You can see the menu on Street Life's web site: http://www.streetlife-pattaya.com Quote
Guest lvdkeyes Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 You can check out some of Wichan's artwork hung at the outside seating area. Richard also has a catalog of his completed works. He also accepts commissions. Quote
Guest Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 I did try this place last night and I really enjoyed it. First, the decoration is beautiful. They have done a fantastic job on the place and I would not have recognized it from the old Amore that was there. The new place is bright and inviting. When you enter you are greeted by Wiccan's art work on the patio and both GayButton and I agree that he is the best artist in Pattaya. He artwork is reasonably priced and really quite beautiful. The owner greeted us and was friendly and gave suggestions. I knew from the website I wanted the The Queen which is a turkey sandwich. It was very tasty. I also had the carrot cake which was delicious. The waiters were friendly and the atmosphere was very laid back. I went with GayButton about 6:30. My only regret was not waiting till about 8:00 so I could watch the boys saunter by for all their jobs in the gogo bars. Street Life is gay ran and deserves our business. Please go by and give them a chance if you have not been there. We need to keep supporting the businesses that cater to our community and serve quality food. Quote
