TotallyOz Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 It looks like traffic is picking up in all the bars and gogo establisments in Soi Sunee. After walking around for a few hours every place had customers and many were almost full. It looks like High Season is here! Don't miss the fun. Jump on a place (if you are not already in Thailand) and head to LOS. The boys are waiting and you are needed to help make this the best high season ever! Quote
atri1666 Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 I will arrive 22nd november. My friend just arrived there told me already sunee is like high season but the beach is dead. Quote
Guest RichLB Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 The beach might be quiet because lately we've been experiencing rather unseasonal overcast days. By the way, GayThailand, I thought you were in Brazil. I take it you have returned. Quote
Guest beachlover Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 You're back in Thailand GT? Cool... That was quick. Quote
Guest Yaya Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 For what it is worth, I arrived noon time this past Friday (12 Nov) at the airport. All lines at airport immigration were open and the processing time was about 45 minutes. Looks like some folks took your advice, GT, and are heading to the LOS Good to see. Quote
Guest JBee Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Why this board or any board allows for the promotion of this area is something many of us do not understand. A moderator also has a higher burden to ensure their posts contribute to the community as a whole. Promotion of Sunee Plaza is not something that should be allowed on this or any other message board. Boystown is a great alternative to Sunee Plaza without all the underage boys on stage. Quote
Guest Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 Something many of us don't understand? Other than yourself, who do you think you're speaking for? There is nothing wrong with Sunee Plaza and most venues there operate legitimately, just like Boyztown. There are bars that hire under-age boys. We know that. The problem is those specific bars, not Sunee Plaza as a whole. That "higher burden" you wish to impose includes refusal to let a "holier than thou" type like you decide what constitutes a "higher burden" and also refusal to condemn an entire area because of the actions of a few venues located there. If you dislike Sunee Plaza, you don't have to go. But don't try to tell everyone else not to go. I intend to go, and often, and I also intend to fully promote it - with or without your approval. Sure, as GT pointed out (which he hardly needed to do), there is an underage issue at a few venues in Sunnee; however, there also is an underage issue in Boyztown proper although apparently to a much smaller extent. But the majority of venues in both locations don't have the issue and there's no need to or basis to paint the whole area with the same brush. Quote

Why the subterfuge???????????????? No, I think that Ya was saying he just returned to Thailand and the waits in customs was longer. Thus, the traffic was picking up and thus the traffic was picking up on the streets in Thailand. And, thus, the streets of Sunee was picking up. And, thus the title of the post. No, I do not own Yaya. I sit and drink there from time to time and I did sit and drink with Ya last night. You can tell us apart easily. I am the old, overweight, balding, bitchy man. Ya is the young cute boy with a smile on his face. If your eyesight is so bad you can't tell us apart, I have a great laser guy I can introduce you to. Quote
