floridarob Posted August 30 Share Posted August 30 This is my 1st time here....had a long trip to get here and was soo tired last night I got tired of guys on Grindr either the free offers from guys not my type or the money ones asking for 300 brl and not willing to go lower and wanted by the hour. I messaged a few guys on Skokka and about the same thing. A friend of mine says he hates it here, when he's been, lots of guys never showed up for him, wasting time. xpaulo Posted August 31 Share Posted August 31 Personally I liked the two saunas.... one was pretty rundown and the guys tend to be on the rough side, but that's what I like. Years ago there was one GP sauna with beautiful muscle guys, but there were only a few guys there, it was like one of those expensive clothing shops with only a few pieces of clothing on display. The guy I spent a while with was completely aloof. There are some interesting towns close to there you can visit. Ouro Preto was the one that stuck out to me, it's one of the few places I've seen in Brazil with its colonial appearance still more or less intact. However, I made the mistake once of visiting during its intense, nonstop, rainy season. Belo Horizonte has several gay saunas but only two that (to the best of my knowledge) have regular GPs. An unexpected amount of client-client action that was fun. A thread here a year or two ago said Olimpo was experimenting with nonGP nights, but I do not have an update on that. Sauna 1097 Rua dos Guajajaras, 1097 - Centro, Belo Horizonte https://maps.app.goo.gl/ubWZgYacwTpENasn7 A few blocks away from Olimpo is 1097. Yes, seedy Sauna 1097 is, as XPaulo wrote, rundown with skinny rough GPs who he liked but were not for me. Ouro Preto is indeed the most famous colonial town in the state of Mina Gerais. Besides SP, it's the only city (that I know of) that has a few 24-hour sex venues. Keeping me entertained after the GP sauna. Olimpo is still the main venue for GP sauna. They did experiment with non-GP for a bit. It must not be very profitable as the GPs are now back on the menu. Heard there are plenty of new GPs lately. 1097 is seedy and bareback heaven is still correct. The advice I took from them though was the going rates here is 70-100 MAX I ended up wanting to go with 4 guys, not all at once but was a very difficult decision between which one. As I'm not a very shy guy , I enlisted the guidance of the bartenders...was a good choice, and so much fun. I'm going to Rio Monday and he said he is too, but on the bus. We have plans do do a 3-way tomorrow with the 3rd to be decided still.....my 1st time here has been totally worth it! I loved those skinny boys, although I think my favourite at 1097 probably used violence to get what he wanted in his life outside of the sauna. Yes Men (formerly Sauna 24-horas, near Olimpo), Dedalos, Kratos Cine and Sauna, Zoom Cruising bar. Used to have Chili Pepper but closed.
