Guest travelerjim Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Cruising around Sunee Plaza during the warm afternoon, to get some pics for you fellas... Here is the Entry stairs to the Marina Inn - Don Plaza Swimming Pool and Bar... Really clean looking and inviting for a swim or just a lazy day lying around the pool reading a good book, using your Kindle, or an MP3. The pool deck is clean and deck chairs/lounges are in sun or shade... up to you..as they say in Thailand... Open late morning to late night... 10:30am - 10:30pm Enjoy! tj Quote

Moses Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Looks nice. Do they have umbrellas at sun-desk and outdoor shower? Quote
Guest xiandarkthorne Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Thanks for the photos. Any idea how much they charge per entry? Quote
Guest fountainhall Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 I'm sure that was just an excuse for you to walk past Yaya's bar. You know that Brazilian boy is in there somewhere and you are not going to be last in line Quote
Guest MonkeySee Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 The place has come a long way since Monty ran the business. Probably does not have the same ambience, either. I like a pool for a change from the beach everyonce in a while. Quote
Guest Astrrro Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Probably does not have the same ambience, either. I doubt it does either. Monty's pool amd associated shennanigams was one of a kind. Quote
Guest GaySacGuy Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 The facility looks really nice...It has really been cleaned up! Does anyone know if there have been many customers?? What about eyecandy. The pool at Yensabai was nice when I lived there, but mostly just us old retired guys...once in a while a little eyecandy for the soul! Quote

I was "just passing" by YaYa's... with camera in hand... and that dreamboat of a dude with 6 X 8's ...remember him ??? was just setting up the club... Mind you, I was just minding my own business.. trying to get you fellas some pics... AND...AND.. tj ps.. My Grandaddy used to tell me: "Now Jimmy, Remember the early bird gets the worm" Quote
PattayaMale Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Great pictures TJ. Does anyone remember the contest that was run several months asking people to submit new names for Marine Plaza? I never heard the results or what happened. I see the name was never changed. Can anyone add to this? Quote
Guest fountainhall Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 fh...You are quite the "cross-examiner" aren't you? But tj, you already knew that! You even cast me as Matlock when we were discussing the Polanski case. To which I took a degree of umbrage, considering my profile to be much more Gregory Peck in To Kill a Mocking Bird (vanity - get thee behind me!). WOW! What fine legal Eagles both of you are... with such good legal analysis...arguments and researched supportive documentation...pro and con. Fountainhall as "Matlock" the Defense Attorney... Bob as "Perry Mason" the Prosecuting Attorney. And we have them both here on GT Quote
Bob Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 I'll have you know... I was "just passing" by YaYa's... with camera in hand... Your honor! I was simply standing on the corner peeling an orange when this guy, all of a sudden, backed around the corner six times into my knife! Honest! Like Jimmy Carter, I suspect there was a little of that "lust in my heart" going around a bit, TJ. Or at least I hope so! Quote
