The crime and drug related scene in Thailand is getting worse...

and is especially getting closer to our homes in Pattaya, Chonburi Province.

Day after day, there are reported killings, robberies, drug deals,

necklace and purse snatching, and more ...going on.

One wonders when will it get better,

Rather it seems to be getting worse.

Drug suspect gunned down in front of Chon Buri court

CHON BURI: -- A drug suspect was gunned down after he exited the

provincial court here, police said.

Police said Putthipong Sunanwiriyamakorn, 40, was shot at his forehead

while he was starting his car.

The gunman inside another car sped off.

Police said Putthipong went to the court to ask for a postponement of

his arraignment in a case that he was arrested allegedly with 11 grammes

of 'ice' drug.

Earlier, he was suspected of being involved in another drug case in which

police seized some 200,000 methamphitamine pills in front of a sea foods

restaurant in Chon Buri's Muang district.

A few weeks back I started a post about boys on G-R advertising wanting "High sex" and "Party Sex" I just couldn't believe they were being so open about the desire to use drugs during sexual encounters. It just seemed so contrary to what I had always read and heard about drug laws and penalties in Thailand. I guess things have changed. I'm seeing even more of that brazen advetrtising than just a few months back. How things have changed for the worse sad.gif

Well, it saves a heap of court costs and lawyer's fees.
