I thought the club meeting on the ground of the Amari Orchid Resort and Tower was a splinter group from the other club. The story I heard was this group did not like the atmosphere of promoting businesses and wanted a club more social and friendly. I am not sure if it is true or not. Quote

They meet each Sunday morning at 10:30am at the Grand Sole Hotel...Second Road in Central Pattaya. A good sized club, most from UK and Australia...a few Americans too. Nice breakfast buffet served from 10:30am ...many Thai dishes and eggs and ham...toast, butter, jam...coffee, tea, water. 120 baht. I have visited them once, a few weeks ago. Good group of fellas. Lifetime membership is 600 baht. No membership required to go to the meetings and have buffet..just pay same price as all for buffet. Their website contains a lot of good, helpful information for Expats.
