TotallyOz Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 You need to be using a HTML5 compliant browser.Firefox or Google's Chrome are the two I know are for certain. I would use Chrome if you have it. Follow directions. Type in Address. WAIT. It takes a while to load. Don't close anything until the end. Many things will pop up. That is OK. Get ready to be wowed! http://www.chromeexperiments.com/arcadefire Quote
Guest beachlover Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Wow... This is awesome! Thanks! I tried it with all sorts of places. Quote
Guest dale1 Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 Followed directions: went to my CHROME browser, closed everything else, typed in an address, got permanently stuck at 78% ..... curiosity running rampant ..... what does it do??? Quote
Guest Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 Followed directions: went to my CHROME browser, closed everything else, typed in an address, got permanently stuck at 78% ..... curiosity running rampant ..... what does it do??? It is processor intensive. It takes your address and puts it into a movie they created. It is a way that some Chrome developers wanted to showcase the new HTML5 and Chrome. I'd give it another try. Mine got stuck the first time and I closed a few programs and it was fine. Quote
Guest beachlover Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 Shame it doesn't work for Bangkok (not enough streetview/map data). Quote

Brings up a video of a jogger running through the streets of whatever suburb/neighbourhood you enter using the Google Maps Satellite Shots and Streetview panoramic photography... It's quite artistic and dreamy... Supposed to feel nostalgic I think. Quote
Guest fountainhall Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 Yet again, one post could/should have covered these comments. Quote
Guest lvdkeyes Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 Since often two posts are made very close in time together, perhaps it is because you have a second thought after the first post. It would be more acceptable to edit the first post to add the additional post. Quote
Guest beachlover Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 That's a fair call. I'll make an effort to consolidate posts from now on. Quote
Guest Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 That's a fair call. I'll make an effort to consolidate posts from now on. It is easy to consolidate posts. Hit the Multi-Reply button at the end of each message you want to comment on. Then, when you have hit them, hit the Reply at the end. The result is that every post you hit Multi-Reply on will show up and allow comment. I would appreciate this as I moved at least 50 of your posts so far to combine them all into one when they were replied to in the same time frame. In fairness to you, I should have just sent you a PM to explain this but I have not had time to do so yet. Quote
Guest beachlover Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 Oh, that will make it MUCH easier to reply to multiple comments. Thanks! I'd been wondering what the multi-quote button does. Should have tried it earlier. Quote
Guest fountainhall Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 Now I know, too! I have always done a fair amount of clicking and pasting in the past. Quote

Guest Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 Enjoy GT. The .com or the person? Are you offering me up like a piece of meat? Jeeze Offer a guy a few M&M's and they think they own you. Well, if you replied in this thread, did you at least try the Chrome link? It is one of the most amazing things I have seen to date on the Internet and shows us what can unleashed with html5. Quote

GT, The M&M's were great - a treat! and as for offering you up? well....let's say I hope bl enjoys "all he can get of GT"! I did try the Chrome link...amazing as you say. I have passed it along to a few friends and await their reply. Thanks for the Meet & Greet... and I appreciate your efforts here at GT and in the gay community. (wait one...let me re-read the rules of the GT contest... hmmmm...looks like more than a one liner and surely more than two)... OK...Bye for now! Chat with you again soon.... but before I go... Surely be alert and aware of that YaYa Club in Sunee Plaza.... From what I hear...(reading over at GB's)... they now have a Waiter in Doctor's White Coat... bare-ass naked underneath...and he is practicing saying "bend over" as the new Doc at YaYa's makes ready for fountainhall's arrival and try at drinking the Weng Weng Cocktail. GT...Maybe the Doc will invite you to play "fountainhall" for him? tj Quote

GT...Maybe the Doc will invite you to play "fountainhall" for him? You cheeky young man, you!! You are taking my name in vain - and stretching somewhat my post on GB's forum . But I admit I did suggest to Ya that instead, as someone proposed, of his staff wearing nurses' uniforms (to administer relief to those knocked out by his cocktails and see them off to hospital ), it might be more appropriate if the boys dressed as doctors. Then life saving assistance could be provided in situ. Naturally the unconscious would be brought back to life almost immediately if the doctors were to wear nothing underneath. Well, after all, there is a porn site named "Dr. Twink". And don't you think it does kinda go well with Cock-tail of the Month? Come to think of it, Ya could go further - there could be a Fetish of the Month as well! Quote

Also, if you use bold, should that count double? What are your thoughts? Quote
