Although it's geared totally to the hetero readers, I like reading about what else is happening in Thailand. In his Sept 22 entry, "Pattaya Soi 6", he writes about a friend of his who offed a bar girl. Would you do this to your chosen one? I maintain that many white guys who get involved with women in Thailand are weak and get walked all over. But not everyone is weak and a mate told me a story this week that made me laugh. He's a good friend, all round good guy and is much too switched on for any girl to be able to pull the wool over his eyes. He seldom takes bargirls, preferring to trawl the internet which he finds easier, cheaper and ultimately provides a better return. Anyway, recently he not only paid the barfine for a bargirl, he took the girl back to his place. About to take a shower, she grabbed a towel from his cupboard. He stopped her and told her that she had taken a towel from the wrong pile. As she expected to be paid for her services, she would be given the use of one of his used towels from the to-be-washed basket! My jaw dropped, I understand the message, chuckled at his nerve, but personally, the thought would have never crossed my mind. Quote

After being such a dick, do you think she serviced him well? I don't get why customers sometimes treat their suppliers or service providers so crap... especially prior to the delivery of a service, which can vary so much in quality. Quote
