Free and Poblado, you never see those words together.

Exactly my thinking.
If the OP believes the young local models will be standing in line to provide sex without payment in one or the other way, he is in for a reality check once arrived in Medellin.

As stated above, for sure lots of guys will be prepared to meet a gringo for sex without payment, but presumably the OP will have no/very little interest in such older, ugly, chubby guys, small dick guys etc. Anyway, let us leave it to the OP to make his own experiences/conclusions when visiting Colombia.

Oh no, I'm not dillusional and I'm not expecting models to be jumping on me. I'm after average looking guys. My friend who is colombian regularly goes to Colombia and has a ton of free fuck, he is my age and similarly looking average ISH fit guy so I know what to expect in terms of guys and their interest I think. I will be paying for the ones I really like and when I want someone out of my league, it's just I can't make it a "paid only" trip, I just won't be able to afford it.

Better buy an enema.

Unfortunately, I absolutely hate those, I either use it incorrectly or I don't know why, but it gets me more air then water inside of me, and the amount of water is insufficient. I've been using showers for my whole life because of that and multiple tries with enema were unsuccessful..🤷🏻‍♂️

Unless you want the have A LOT of sex in Colombia, paid sex is not going to be your biggest expense.

You can have sex in Cali for as low as 50 mil. Plenty of Grindr guys prepared to meet for 70 mil. 100 mil is on the high end there. (I probably do not need to convert to GBP or Euro; anyway it very low).

Agree, Cali is my best bet here as Medellin and Bogotá won't be as cheap, and if you think about the length of my trip, even 100 mil per day X 35 days is 3,500 COP (800 Euro+). And I want a lot of sex (ie 2 guys at the same time, or one in the morning + one in the evening easily, which would put it me into £2,000+ spend). It might sound okay to you considering prices in Europe but won't be cheap for me, I just can't afford to spend on sex that much. However, I'll allocate some budget to paid sex for sure! I normally able to get free sex in any countries I go to so I hope Colombia won't be drastically different. I'm not a model but I'm still relatively young looking and relatively fit.

look forward to hearing about your experiences

considering I'll have plenty of time (cause noone's going to fuck me for free LOL), i'll try to do regular reports here while i'm there! Still waiting for you to be back to have a chat in private so please shout when you have some free time for me!

On a side note, i'm really stuck with Bogota accomodation choices - I need 2 places, 1 w each and i'm going to be working remotely those two weeks so I need a bit more residential or quiter for work but not too far from all the local guys.. One choice comes to mind is Cedritos which was recommended here and my mate stayed there, said it was lovely. Seems to be quite far from chapinero and all guys so not sure if there are enough locals to sattisfy my needs :)

But what would be the second place, somewhere similar but different location to have some freshblood around me for the second week? Please shout if anyone has any ideas!

No reason not 2 stay in chapinero the whole time. Its not like u r going to exhaust the "freshblood" there in one week.

U mentioned twice a day. Do u think there r only 14 suitable candidates there..... ?     (-:

Not ugly with good dicks manly looking tops willing to fuck me for free? I doubt i'll get 5 based on the comments in this thread LOL. But i just don't know that's an honest answer:) Any particular parts of Chapinero you can think of that are a bit quieter/safer/modern? I'm thinking about being able to work etc..

OP, not shouting with text in caps, though admittedly I am suppressing that instinct.

Since it appears Grindr will be your main source of hookups, why don’t you use its Explore function, zooming in and out of geographical zones and entering the data regarding quantity of profiles into a detailed spreadsheet? Book your lodgings in urban areas that have the most profiles by an arbitrary number of square kilometres. For accurate representation conduct these searches within windows of time that match  the time frames you anticipate you will be seeking when there. After that, enter into your formula some variables related to free, pay, pay with discount, magnitude of discount, position, Metro card holders, Uber account possessors, and so on. This will help you to zero in on what I believe for you is the dilemma of selecting among 4 consecutive neighbourhoods for one-week stays in cities that I believe you have, thankfully, already narrowed down. Though I see that the local availability of purified water may now play an additional role. Consider all the above with the added factor of district safety ratings.

Good luck, and enjoy. Board history in general suggests we won’t get feedback following your travails but will hope that doesn’t mean you met an untimely or unfortunate outcome. The feedback is important, though, as the majority of posters go for average-looking talent, trade or otherwise, and that’s a good fit given your agenda. I am glad you have mentioned attention to the view.

I doubt you will have any wifi issues in airbnb. Digital nomads are a substantial part of the traveling crowd. I used to have issues sometimes before the pandemic. Since then, most airbnbs have very fast wifi. If you have any concerns, contact the host using Airbnb's messaging system. It works great.

Quiet lodgings may have more to do with location in a building than particular neighbourhood. For example, in a lovely Estadio/Laureles unit walkable to the Metro I could not sleep due to street traffic on a secondary north/south roadway, but moved following day to the back of the building, larger unit without balcony and with enclosed bedrooms further shielding from corridor noise, very peaceful. In contrast, on a main Poblado thoroughfare the street noise was so profound that it bled all the way around and over the roof to the back bedrooms of the penthouse I let. It was unreal. My home base is a bustling downtown zone so it’s not as if I have country mouse expectations.

I get the idea but I don't have an Explore function on Grindr and I don't have reliable sources for data for safety/quietness as it's subjective and can vary by the street apparently. I just hope those who've been there can share a couple of suggestions and I'll go from there. 2 places would allow me some room for an error, at least I'm not going to be stuck there for the whole trip:)

Thanks for your contribution everyone, really appreciate it!

Love that snobbish tone but that sincerely is my preference- an average straight looking guy... as I'm worried too much about my own looks around muscled gorgeous models. I've posted a report on my Cairo trip recently - so I'm definitely dedicated to share the experience as this forum helped me massively last time as well :)

Still traveling but I will get back to you on Bogota Airbnb/hotels.

You should def stay in Chapinero or slightly to the North of Chapinero (that is a nice and safe residential area). The areas around Parque El Virrey and Parque 93 also great.

Random q. Found in description on Airbnb in Cali that water isn't safe to drink and bottled water is provided.

Odd. I am not aware of any restrictions on drinking water in Cali. Other areas of the country yes, but the water systems for the major cities (that you are visiting in your stated itinerary) have all been upgraded and the tap water is safe to drink. So the warning is curious, to the point of being a red flag. Outside of the major cities (and this includes Cartagena) NEVER drink tap water because it is not properly treated. But in Cali this should not be an issue. Unless you are determined to stay at that listing, I would look at other options.

Found this map with population density and audience profile for Bogota - clearly north of Chapinero is the way to goPopulation in Bogotá: inhabitants, density and socioeconomic conditions (source: Alcaldía Mayor de Bogotá 2016)

Cedritos is the most highly populated "wealthy" area in the north and surrounded by even more populated less affluent areas,so that's a good choice for the first accomodation I guess. I hope i'm going to survive in Cali and Medeliin to verify this statement about Cedritos and report. :)

For the second week i'm going to look at Chico and around it as recommended by @speedoo1, but struggling to find any non guarded appartments there, most of them are official rentals that reqire registering guests etc. So i'm still investigating!

Perhaps you are over thinking it.
