Erich was happy, welcoming and is ready to start cooking up some of his popular servings menu. Especially good to see such a big turnout of customers... I would estimate that a crowd of over 75+ showed for the party to welcome Erich back... and might I add... The Thai Waiter Staff has real handsome fellas The drinks were good and reasonable too. I do not drink alcoholic bev's..so the Diet Coke at 40 baht is good for me... bf had Schweppes Lemon for 50 baht. Quote

But what a tribute to Erich, and very much deserved, to have over 75 people attending shows a good welcome back. Now that the free buffet has ended, I truly hope that the well wishers continue to show up and support Erich by buying their next meal. TJ or anyone that attended know if he will have special nights like before for his meat loaf? Quote

PM, It threatened to rain at the Jomtien Complex... but only a drop or two... you must have got the deluge in South Pattaya. I will stop by soon and ask for a menu... will post it when I have it. Love those specials of Erich's.. and his Pork Chop Dinner with pan fried potatoes, steamed vegetables and salad bar was yummy! tj Quote

Guest travelerjim Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 I talked to Erich tonight at La Dolce Vita. He will begin serving dinner in about 2 or 3 weeks, as he is in the process of getting his Thai Work Permit. In the meantime, their usual German food specials will continue to e served each Thursday and Sunday nights. I saw four specials listed on the menu board in front of La Dolce Vita for Thursday night August 26th. One was a German Goulash Soup 100 baht and also a German Meatloaf Dinner at 165 baht... along with two other specialties. tj Quote
