Guest noy9000
I'd previously stay in BKK but has never went to the gay venues, I'm getting around fine with 16000THB p/ mth. (including rent, utilities, food & transport) I'll max it at 23,000THB tops. for all my spendings p/ mth. I'm sure this rate is applicable to pattaya too - since I was living near patpong last time. Guest rainwalker
I'm trying to get a handle on what expenses are in The Magic Kingdom and I'm asking your help in commenting on and adding items to a budget I'm working on. I know some of you must have worked on one as you thought about moving. It's not that I'm anal in all things (nudge, nudge, wink, wink) but I want to check the burn rate so I can see what I'm getting into. I'm attaching a list of possible expense categories appended below and hope you can look at the the stuff to see if I've missed anything. It may also help me in that mythical quest called "Saving Money"; I think its like finding the Holy Grail - it appears occasionally but always just out of reach. Guest shockdevil
New to this wonderful world of Thailand. I am visiting Thailand in a few months. This is going to be my second time visiting Thailand and on my first trip I did not realize what a Magical Country this was. I visited Bangkok and Chiang Mai and some cities inbetween. However, I never knew that I should have headed south to Pattaya. As a person new to the scene, do you think it will be difficult finding comfortable, safe long-term accommodations in Pattaya. Also, if I met someone in Bangkok, is it reasonable to assume they will be willing to travel to Pattaya or Chiang Mai or some other part of Thailand?
