Gaybutton
friday i am comming for the first time to pattaya ,will stay 7 days at siam thani enyone now its a ok place to stay ? That would depend on what you consider 'good' to be. The location is right next to where the new sauna will be, but the sauna will not yet be open when you are here. Also, it is a long distance down a hill and is not near the beach area or the city area. There are no bars nearby. You would need a taxi to reach any areas in Pattaya. On the other hand, I have heard that the rooms have recently been renovated and are quite nice, although I have not been there to see for myself in over two years. My suggestion would be to give it a try for a couple of days. If you like it, then continue to stay there. If not, you have plenty of other options. That would be true for any hotel with which you are unfamiliar.
Guest wowpow
I would be very very careful about booking this place. Last I heard they were bouncing booking to The White House on Dongtan beach. Certainly do not part with any money before arrival until you have seen the rooms and around the place. The lovely website is very old now. I do hope that someone can vouch for the place. We are short on gay hotels with a pool - however tiny. RamaKien Resort might be an option.

I also heard of these scams happening there. Book somewhere else and save yourself a lot of hassle. There are so many other good gay hotels in all price ranges. Check out Dreaded Ned's Gay Thailand for more details and choices. Good luck. TR The Rose
Guest stef
You can also check the city guides section on the top menu. We do have a listing of Gay Hotels in the country.
Guest kenrfc
I thought Siam Thani was closed? If I'm not mistaken the Rama Kien is the old Le Colonial, remodeled and under new management. Wasn't Punya of Howards Hotel going to get involved in one of these establishments? Where is LMTU when you need him?.....

Art, the owner, happened to be in Manhattans the night I tried it. He said the Siam Thani is open for business.
