TotallyOz Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 In celebration of Mother's Day, all the gogo bars were closed. It was a rainy night and a flood came upon many of us on 2nd road. Most of the beer bars were open. I went to YaYa with some friends and they all tried their drink specials. All of them exclaimed, "wow, this is a real drink." Not some watered down rip off of a drink. It was packed with liquor and they said tasted great. We went to see if any gogo's were open and with no luck, as I found all the lights off and all were closed. I headed back to my place and got so wet from the rain that I didn't stop in BoyzTown to see what was open there. I think this weekend will be busy! Fireworks. Tourists. Boys needing work! Quote

So YAYA bar was breaking the law last night? Is this what you are saying? Quote
firecat69 Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 So YAYA bar was breaking the law last night? Is this what you are saying? I dont believe that's what he is saying at all. First 2 of the busier GoGo bars were closed because of problems with police. The combination of very bad weather and lack of boys for various reasons led to the other GoGo bars being closed. I think a couple of bars planned to open but when they saw no boys showing up and the very hard rain they decided to close. Far as I know the Beer Bars were perfectly within their rights to stay open. This was not a religious Holiday . Quote
Guest HeyGay Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 Sorry to have to contradict you again GT, but the owners of Wonderland asked me to have a look in, IT WAS OPEN, as they had a crop of new Boys 25 in fact and deed they did have and some one for most taste, unless your very fussy, like me, even though I had seen the same show there for years, it was fun on a dark rainy night, waiting for the Go Go Bays to turn up, Give it a another try, if you have been passing it bye lately, you may enjoy it now. My dear, feel free to contradict me whenever you can. I have also heard the 13th on several occasions. You may be right. I was trying to give a conservative estimate. I did not go to Wonderland. I didn't even walk down the Soi. So, you are most likely right on that as you are the Scoop master. I know of no one who has better scoops than you. I'll have to wander into the Plaza tonight to test your sources. Quote
daddydawg Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 So YAYA bar was breaking the law last night? Is this what you are saying? NO....I don't think he is saying that at all. In fact, the Queen's Birthday is no longer a "bar closing" holiday as of 4 years ago. Quote
