hojacat Posted July 9 Author Posted July 9 I think what made this news quite surprising and generated so much buzz online, beside the hideous nature of the charges brought against him, is the fact that it happened to a guy who could pretty much had almost any twink in this world and in most cases even make money out of having sex with them. I actually saw Austin Wolf at a big orgy in LA around three weeks before he got arrested. He probably had sex with 6-8 guys that night. Every time I got a peek of him, there was a circle of young twinks around him when he was having sex, ready to go next with him. You would think these kind of guys won't feel the need to watch any kind of porn. As this athletic young British guy in BKK told me around 2 years ago after we were done sharing a local twink: Since moving to Thailand, kinda forgot what masturbation is" (he was really successful with the local crowd). unicorn and Riobard 1 1 Quote

I guess in reality that was all just his profession and he didn't have any interest in the twinks . He (allegedly) had a very obscene fetish that he spent time on. Quote

Well, he's innocent in the eyes of the law. A person is always either innocent or guilty, regardless of the legal determination. 😉 vinapu 1 Quote
Members Latbear4blk Posted July 10 Members Posted July 10 Aside the law, he has been already judged by public opinion. And beyond whether or not he is guilty, the wave of obsessed pedo-hunters is a mix of hilarious and scaring. I do not like him and have never liked him. I think he is guilty, and I wish he gets the harshest accountabilities. However, a part of me wants him to be innocent only to see how all those guys who are ferociously denouncing him, his friends, and his followers, go back from their self-righteous outrage. Really, now. There's video of him performing horrific acts on pre-pubescent children. I don't need to wait for a jury to feel outraged, nor do I feel I'm being self-righteous. Unless those videos are fake, he's a monster, and I don't feel I'm being self-righteous in saying so, just because this hasn't gone through the legal process. I hope that at least has the decency to plead guilty, and not force the jury to witness the video evidence. 🤮No one should have to look at that, and if he forces anyone to look at this because of his denial, I hope the law comes down hard on him. I don’t think that he has been charged with raping the 10 year old in the video. My reading of the charges was that someone other than Austin Wolf created that video. He is charged with possession of that video and sending it to the FBI agent and/or the initial person whose arrest led the FBI to Austin Wolf. His charges are serious enough, but they would be worse if the FBI could prove that he actually sexually abused a child. khaolakguy 1 Quote

Travelingguy Posted July 11 Posted July 11 I think that you misunderstood my post. The video is of a 10 year old boy be sexually abused by someone other than Austin Wolf. Austin Wolf had possession of a copy of this video (a very serious felony in itself) and also transmitted this video to others (a very serious felony in itself). The government is not claiming that Austin Wolf made this video or participated in the sexual assault. In the USA, simply possessing this material, even if you had nothing to do with the sexual assault or production of the video, is a very serious crime with potentially very long prison sentences. Austin Wolf is learning that lesson the hard way. vinapu, Riobard and Ruthrieston 3 Quote
gayinpattaya Posted July 11 Posted July 11 These are the type of crimes that concern me. While I wouldn't question his guilt or innocence, how is it proven that he himself send these files over the internet? Is there a witness? How many people have access to your WIFI network? Reminds one to keep security up. It would be very easy to frame a crime like this. Not saying someone did. vinapu 1 Quote

Framing someone for this type of crime would be very dangerous, because one would have to have possession of the material to plant it or transmit it. The risk of having it backfire in their face is high enough that I think that very few people would be foolish enough to try to pull that off. vinapu 1 Quote

Very true, but stalkers and ex-lovers have been known to murder before. Some people will go to any lengths. Either way it's a good reminder to all to be in control of your digital security. Quote

I think in his particular case, the FBI arrested a different guy for possession of child pornography. During his confession, he made the name of Austin Wolf and said he was exchanging videos with him. Using his phones, the FBI exchanged more videos with AW and were able to track their destination as the apartment where he lived. I think this was enough evidence for a judge to issue a search warrant for his apartment where they found a SD card containing numerous videos of child pornography including the one with the 10 years old guy mentioned above. I think a guy as notorious as Austin Wolf in the gay circles, known for his liking of young twinks, would have to worry more about being framed by the guys he had sex with than by authorities. Easy for a 16 or 17 years old guy to induce to meet him and then blackmail him later. He probably checked the ID and even probably took a pic of it for every guy he had sex with, but even that might not be enough as most IDs can be faked quite easily. khaolakguy 1 Quote

He certainly took ID cards, and had them sign a model release form. The platforms he publishes on require copies of these under US law. Standard 18 U.S.C. 2257 Record-Keeping Requirements. Quote

Hold your roll, Clarice. Wasn’t there a poster here a while back that arrogantly disparaged layperson jury trials? This. You just buttressed that person’s point. I suppose it could have been you because it has the flavour of something you would say and then personally exemplify it …. Naw, it was you, a slam dunk for Judy. I hate to admit much commonality with your wonky perspectives in general, and you don’t track them well for coherence and consistency, but I’m now more on side than ever with that particular one. On the bright side for you, you want to be noticed and y’are. unicorn 1 Quote
