reader Posted June 19 Posted June 19 After encountering two payment failures in attempts to secure visa for Vietnam visit, I figured why not just go to embassy on Wireless Rd. I was informed on arrival, however, that embassies no longer process visas and e-visa is only option. Returned to room and my VN friend offfered to try it on his iPad. Apparently his fingers not fat like mine—and his mind much more adaptable to electronic age—and he managed to do it on first try. So my advice is do it in advance as much as possible and read and reread data before proceeding to next step. And be advised that VN immigration sends you only one email notice containing an application submission number. It does NOT send you email with visa attached. You need to keep logging on to its website to see if it ready to download. Cost about USD 25. vinapu 1 Quote
Moses Posted June 19 Posted June 19 Visa requirements are exempted for citizens of the following countries: Federal Republic of Germany, Republic of France, Republic of Italy, Kingdom of Spain, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Russian Federation, Japan, Republic of Korea, Kingdom of Denmark, Kingdom of Sweden, Kingdom of Norway, Republic of Finland Republic of Belarus with a temporary residence duration of 45 days from the date of entry, Resolution No. 128/NQ-CP, takes effect from August 15, 2023. reader and vinapu 2 Quote

10tazione Posted June 19 Posted June 19 Danang: - Visit Hue, preferably in the evening (for the lanterns) - Marble Mountains (its a lot of steps, like the msg places in Soi 6, but you are used to it lol) - Ba Na Hills (it is an amusement park, but has also some nice gardens with flowers and that famous bridge resembling a hand) - go to My Son, if you like old architecture I have no experience of Danang City itself. reader and vinapu 1 1 Quote

Hue is in the opposite direction and you would go there if you want to see Nguyen Dynasty Đại Nội Citadel. I went there with my Vietnam gay tour guide and it was an all day event.
