Over the years I've seen a lot of posts about sexual encounters in public toilets in Thailand. I even see people post recommendations about which toilets are the best ones to go to.

 

I have nothing against sex in toilets if that's what people want to do, but it definitely isn't for me . . . not my cup of pee.

 

Meanwhile, anyone who knows me knows I've gotta go rather often. I've said many times, if I live in Thailand a few more years there won't be very many toilets left that I haven't "annointed."

 

But to this day I have yet to ever see anyone hanging around toilets looking for sex or looking to do anything other than #1 and #2.

 

Now I'm curious. Have you ever encountered anything in Thai public toilets? If yes, where? Got any good stories to go with those encounters?

Not long ago I went to pee and saw two guys standing at the end of the row of toilets. When I finished peeing they were gone and the last stall door was closed.

All I know is I have never seen anyone hanging around washrooms. Even if I did, I doubt I would be so inclined in a toilet. However, if he's interested in coming back to my room with me, that might be a different story. The washroom there offers a wee bit more privacy.

 

Actually, that brings to mind another question. You know those telephone numbers you see written on public toilet stall doors? Anybody ever call any of them?

Some 20 years ago I met a guy in the toilet at Sears, we fiddled around a bit, and then I asked him to come to my place. He did and it led to a long term relationship that turned into a friendship which lasts to this day.

 

I have not called any of those numbers, but when I was in the US someone called me and said he got my number from a toilet wall. I had not put it there. He was good enough to tell me where the toilet was located. It was miles and miles from where I lived at a place I had never been.

Don't think I've ever seen or heard anything happen in a public washroom in Thailand.

 

But here in Australia, I've seen guys cruising a couple of times... when there's 3-4 guys standing at the urinal all looking at each other's dicks, it's a bit obvious. Pretty sure I've heard some action happening in cubicles before.

 

I've been propositioned a few of times - usually it's subtly but a couple of times it was quite obvious - but I always passed.

I can think of a lot better places than washrooms. I read that some of the washrooms in the larger malls in Thailand are cruisy, but I certainly have no personal knowledge.

Washroom sex certainly does happen in Thailand. I have observed two guys going into a stall at Bib C. I also saw two guys coming out of the shower room at the public toilet on Dongtan Beach.

It is no good trying to explain wash room sex to those who either have no interest in it or pretend they don't do it, just so they can ridicule others. I have even seen one guy who writes on the forums, who use to Cruise Parks back home in his own country and was married with kids, who turned out to be drug addicts, when I saw him cruising here, he shit himself pretended to be doing a pee, but he did not realize I had seen him already cruising other wash rooms in tukcom, there is a very big taboo about it and only the brave come out and admit it.

 

What I can tell you, when you get your first stunning guy, so many of all ages, much better than anything you can get in Bars, then he does not ask you for money, your hooked. more cruising in Thailand now than any other country in the World, apart from Singapore , and a few other Asian countries.

I'm a little puzzled by those comments. First, like GB, I've never seen it and I've spent a whole lot of time in Thailand for the last 10+ years; but, admittedly, I've never gone to public bathrooms looking for it either. Second, and this is just personal opinion, it seems rather disgusting to me (not the sex part but the location). If somebody wants to think that's ridicule, not my problem.

 

As you note - and I'll agree with your comemnt on this point - there's a "very big taboo" about it. Usually that is a fairly good indication what the general population thinks about it.

I agree... Having some creepy old guy behaving in a sleazy, offensive way in a public restroom is not good either.

 

I can't imagine a more disgusting location than a stinking, filthy public restroom to have sex.

I am totally with you on that one, location is important and a public smelly loo doesn't bring out the best in me - in fact I never hang around long enough to see who is looking where or at what! But, apparently it is actually the smell that is a trigger for guys addicted to toilet sex! Different strokes for different folks I guess.

Yes there is a big taboo, that's why you will only get guys who say they are against it, and make up silly things, like some guys get turned on by the smell, if you go to a wash room how often do you smell it, if on some rare occasions you do find one that is dirty, you don't stay long, but you can get use to it I must admit, when the most handsome guy you have ever seen is waiting there to be played with, you can only smell roses, plus you must understand before the 80s the only place you could meet a guy was places like wash rooms, or saunas, with no Clubs, Bars or internet and in wash rooms you would find so many guys who would never be seen dead in a gay area,

 

The most exciting thing is you get guys who would love to go with guys, mostly bi-sexual, or just curious, if no one knows about it and wash room instant sex is great for being invisible, where you do your business, no one speaks and your gone, no one knows anything, so for this reason you find most of the time the cream of the horny crop, this is why so many guys do it, just go to Silom Center wash rooms to start with, your find hundreds of guys at it and all over Thailand.

 

In the West now, the internet has slowed down cruising to the minimum and muggings has also made it to dangerous, in many towns back in the old country. I for one am so happy so many find it repulsive, I'm repulsed you have to pay a boy in a bar, who does not fancy you, to force him to have sex with you, just so he can eat, at least in wash room only half will go with you and that only because they like you, no money involved..
