Australian Pedophile Arrested for Rape of a Minor in Chiangmai

 

Chiangmai police arrest a 90 year old Australian for child pornography and indecent acts of rape on a minor.

 

Chiangmai, 30th June 2010, Police Colonel Klitthaphon Yeesakhorn ( Doi Saket Police Superintendent, Chiangmai) held a search warrant in order to raid a suspect’s house, 144/2, Moo2, Maekhue, Chiangmai and arrest an Australian National Mr. Crousekarl Josep [90]. The suspect was alleged to have acted indecently, raping a child under 15 years old. The officer searched the house to find 500 photos of naked girls and 2 dildos among other untoward information on the computer that was impounded for evidence. The suspect was taken to the police station while denying all allegations.

There has to be something fishy about this. According to the report, the four girls were 14, 13, 12 and 7 and they were assaulted over a 3 - 4 month period in 2009. SIX months later, all four were again in this man's home when he allegedly raped the 14 year old. Will someone explain how a 90-year old can overcome a (presumably) healthy 14 year old, the more so when there are 3 other healthy youngsters there with her? You can see from the photos that the guy needs a walking stick! He may well be guilty of some lesser form of indecent assault and/or having indecent photos in his possession. If so, then he deserves full punishment. But rape?

I believe in Thailand no distinction is made between rape and statutory rape. Based on my interpretation of the article, I think it is probably more the statutory type of crime. Either way, consensual or forcibly, here's a man having sex with under-age kids. 90 years old! Too bad. He could have been the poster boy for Viagra . . .
