Advantage of living in Bangkok.

so true - here in Pattaya we don't have anything similar.

When you go to a massage shop here in Pattaya it is like going to the fish market - all the available guys are sitting outside the shop in the shade sweating in the unbearable hot heat and the minute you approach they all start yelling at you and even pulling at you to chose them.  I find the process awkward and intimidating.  In Pattaya, there is no booking system nor Line listing of available guys with their stats.

In Bangkok - you can join the Line of the shop that you are interested in and receive an advance listing with photos and sometimes other pertinent information (age, weight, sexual preference, etc.).  Then you can communicate via Line with the manager about which guys that you are interested in and then arrange a booking.  You arrive at the shop an there is NO group of guys sitting outside waiting to pounce on you to choose them like in a fish market.  Instead, you take off your shoes, enter the shop, someone runs over to you to give you a cold towel to cool off your face / neck.  You sit down in a beautiful calm airconditioned environment with nice music playing.  A manager comes and brings you water or tea.  Then perhaps the guy that you booked brings to you a selection of massage oils that you can sniff and choose which one you prefer for your massage.

If only Pattaya had a civilized massage experience like Bangkok has ......

Bangkok also have a few that still have plenty of boys that will be available for you to choose inside the center. One in particular, has no pic of masseur available through website or line. Reason was to protect their masseurs confidentiality. Arena has never disappoint me though with their selection of hunks muscular masseurs available.

Vck on the other hand, has both line updates of who is available on the day, and very large number of boys available on site.

Similar can be said for massage places in silom soi 6, where most available masseurs will be there for choosing. But their line also have listing of boys, but might not be updated.

I actually prefer to go and choose the guy myself, given that tendency of inaccurate/old pics is high, but jeyspa and vck photos are quite accurate, thus for these two, id usually book ahead.

For arena, early booking is possible if u know the massuer's name.

I agree. When I wandered down Soi 6, several of the massage shops had gaggles of boys outside, smiling  and  waving to me.

I don’t believe there’s a location in Bangkok where the boys are more approachable and friendly than Silom Soi 6.

you must be my long lost  twin brother , half my age  though.

I also prefer to see whom I'm hiring as I'm notoriously mis-reading pictures. More important I'm looking for that eye- blink and / or smile indicating skilful fake of interest in me.

I'm joining your praises of Jey Spa though but even there quite of few boys looked for me different than on pics, not necessarily bad thin as it work both ways and their boys usually look better in flesh than on pics.

Agree that Arena had best of both worlds with boys inside , ready to be chosen in flesh once one enters.

while I agree , can't note that some are perhaps too friendly and too approachable which creates another problem- how to walk by without being pestered.

No term for group of girls?

Banned by @reader on account of political incorrectness?

I have personally used three terms when I speak or write. Interestingly, these three have different connotations of age and personality. Going from younger to older:

A giggle of girls
A bevy of girls/ladies
A committee of girls/women... also connotes a certain stentoriousness (oops, reader comes to mind again 🤪)

Ah, Macaroni. I remember you. You’re the man who wrote this about you and your “homo homies”.

In my circle of homo homies, we think life and language would be colorless and humourless if we didn't have hags, yobs, paddies, blackfellas, trannies, geezers, dumbblonds, gerontophiles and fatsos among us. Nor do we need to look far to see rice queens, potato queens, curry queens... And don't forget muscle marys.”

So you and your homies somehow manage to boost your own self images by calling out blacks and aboriginies (blackfellss). Irishmen (paddies), overweight people (fatsos). The list goes on but I don’t believe we need much more to judge your intent.

But by all means please continue to find more members to disparage. 😉

From the excerpts posted by @TotallyOz, a good number of twitter posts promote TCS Spa (for which I have a recent visit report at https://shamelessmacktwo.travel.blog/2024/06/15/in-faraway-bang-kho-laem/)

What I find curious is that the posts in Massage Insider seem to show the TCS boys lifting their shirts or shirtless, as if indicating that bodies are available for exploration and erotic endings are on offer. However, my visit had the guy observing the strictest and most formal of protocols. He remained fully clothed, complete with long pants, throughout. I didn't make any move, nor did he. In such situations where the guy is so fully dressed, I find it awkward to make the transition to playtime.

So my question to @bkkmfj2648 and others subscribing to Massage Insider is this: From those reports about TCS Spa, would "more than massage" be available?

What about other places that Massage Insider has posts on, and also look high end, such as WabiSabi, MGallery, MSense Therapist, The Posh Massage, Mandel Spa, MenSpa X?

Hi Macaroni21.

I would say yes because what is written in LINE for this massage group is that "fun" can be had - and it is at the discretion of the masseur.  I searched for TCS and then used the wonderful AI auto-translate feature and in the 3 reviews that it found for TCS - "fun" was had.  In the 3 reviews they speak about S = which I believe is the reference for sex fun and SS = super soft.  I may have these backwards.  LINE has a strict censorship policy so these forums use "coded messaging" that most of the forum members understand.  Specifically they referenced TCS masseurs, Q, Non, and Earth.

I would love to post the reviews that they write as .pdf documents stored in the Notes section of LINE - but we are prohibited - with the threat of being expulsed from the Massage Insider group if we do it.

I hope that this helps you.

Vinapu is currently posting his BKK trip report and perhaps MSense may be in that report ?

remember that one statistic sample is not a base to formulate hypothesis.

It could be that guy assessed you as in need of serious massage and nothing else.

I had similar case in that popular shop by Phaya Thai station ( name escaped me, Gentleman spa? ) when engaged guy about I knew from trusted source is adventurous and yet as you say it "adhered to most formal protocol ",  only deviation was he was still looking for debaucherous level of service tip.
