Guest jomtien Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 Come to Corner Bar's Texas Ho Down! I'm not sure that 'ho down' is a good turn of phrase to apply to Sunee! Quote

Bob Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 The word actually is hoe down. "Ho" is simply American slang for whore and my guess is it was an intentional play-on-words. Which reminds me of the one "dirty" joke that my mother, then in her late 70's, used to tell: Q. How do you know who the prostitute is at the Miss America contest? A. She's the one with the banner that says "Idaho." Quote

He has a sticker that says I-da-HO and a Herpes sore on his mouth. My favorite Ho joke is about Tiger woods: Q. What's the difference between Tiger Woods and Santa Claus? A. Santa stopped at three ho's. Quote
Guest Astrrro Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 That will be the venue of choice for many of my friends who want to see the Miss Sunee Plaza contest tonight. CB has lots going for it, extremely hospitable owners, friendly staff, comfortable seating, a great view, and excellent food and drinks at the right price. The Corner Bar contestant should do quite well although the Euroboy's entry would probably be considered the favorite if there were a Las Vegas betting line. Quote
