Slow Movement on Stages at GoGo Bars

Recommended Posts

One of the things I like about Bangkok GoGo bars is their fast movement across the stage so that in any one song, you get to see most of the boys. In Pattaya, the movements are very slow and often a new boys does not enter the stage until a new song starts. This means that the majority of the boys stay on stage for about 10 or more songs. If I have someone I think is cute sitting down waiting, the likelihood of me waiting 10 songs is nil.

I asked Mamasan Rose last night about this as she has worked in both places and she said that there are fewer boys in one bar and so they tend to spread them out. To me, I much prefer the faster viewing. I know some like to sit in a bar and watch the boys on stage, but for me, I get bored quick and rarely stay in any one bar for more than 15 minutes. I can't see sitting there for 3 hours. To each his own.

My favorite way the boys move is one of the ladyboy bars in NanaPlaza. They seem to pounce on the stage when they want to show off their goods and they wander around the stage when they want and dance and have a good time.

I do wonder what most of you prefer?

Slow moving on stage usually drives me out of the bar.

Then, I assume you don't spend a lot of time in the Pattaya bars. They all tend to go on FOREVER!

I am with you on this and thus why I can sit in a bar in Bangkok longer and buy more drinks.

I think I prefer somewhere in between. I dislike bars at which you wait forever for more boys to get on the stage, but I also dislike bars at which they change positions so quickly that you really don't get enough time to give them a good looking over, make eye contact with a boy who catches your interest, and have at least a couple minutes to decide whether you want to call him over.

For me, three or four minutes is just about right before the boys shift positions.

I like the stage itself to revolve so you can get a good look at all the boys and make eye contact when a cutie is coming around.

I prefer the guys to have a fully functioning set of limbs which they utilise to move around the stage themselves.

Classic Boys Bankok works quite well at achieving just enough rotation, although of course a lot more dancing might be nice.

I can see you are not a drinking man GT! I do like to stay long enough to get through one drink before leaving. Of course there are times when a quick exit is the best course. If I am enjoying myself I go for two drinks and usually sit with someone.

You are right. I am not a drinking man. Never been drunk. YET. I am more of a soda drinker so it is easy for me to exit fast. If there is a show going on that I like, I stay for a bit. If there are tons of cute guys, I'll stay and have others for drinks. Rarely, does this happen. I think the best for me was the old Future Boys in Bangkok. I would be able to stay in there for a bit. X-Treme when they had the wonderful cabaret show was easy for me to stay for hours.
