Guest fountainhall Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 With all the recent threads about new gadgetry, does anyone know of a way to record TV programmes generated by True Visions from their satellite feed? I'm not a TV junkie but since I travel quite a lot there are some programmes I'd like to record. More than a year ago, they brought out their own expensive hard-disc recorder which can pre-record from any channel you've paid for without the need to set the tuner to that channel. A friend who purchased one is sick and tired of it, saying it frequently breaks down and has been back for repairs three times. Is there any other way of recording from different channels? Quote
Gaybutton Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 There is a brand or two of recording DVD players, on which you can record DVDs from television. Send a PM to Shebavon. He has one. Quote

Thanks I will. I know some DVD players will record TV programmes provided you set the True box to that channel. Just to clarify - the equipment I hope to find is one that can be pre-programme several programmes from different channels without the box necessarily been set to those channels. Quote
