Your Favorite Restaurants in Pattaya

I want to try some new places to eat in Pattaya while I am here with the BF. What are some places that you recommend? I am not looking for the most expensive or the most talked about but the places you actually enjoy going to on a regular basis.

For me, my only regular place is Salt and Pepper in Day Night 2. I love the food and it is very inexpensive and the owners are super nice. For breakfast, I also like Papa David's in Jomtien and when I stay in that area I hit the place every morning.

Any other suggestions on non chain type places?

For fried chicken try Saha Farms on Sukhumvit. It's that big multi-pastel colored place on the left as you head north. The chicken is good and cheap. You can also buy bags of ready to fry chicken.

Ok, here's my list.

Breakfasts -

Poseidon Breakfast Buffet 145 baht. I won't go into details since its been reviewed here a lot already.

Hotel Denmark Breakfast Buffet (on soi White House in Jomtien) - A nice variety of offerings for 160 baht.

Dinner -

Poseidon Weekend Buffet (and no, I don't have any financial interest in Poseidon). At 444 baht, clearly the best deal in town for price, quality and variety. Only available Friday and Saturday nights.

Acqauarus Restaurant in Jomtien - daily specials for 350. Some complain that the portions are not large, but I'm a big eater and never leave hungry. My favorite is the Friday night lamb special set menu.

Natan's on Thapprya across from Jomtien Complex. A small but really good place. I had Satin Bocca on my first visit and it was so good I've never had anything else since. I think it's 350 baht.

Cherry's Wednesday Buffer - a well known and popular large buffet with such a variety of feed it would fill the page to list it all. I think it's around 325 baht.

Cafe Ritz - in Jomtien Complex. Food served in a semi family style format. The owner/cook is a colorful man and his gruff style tends to turn some people off, but if you relate to him as entertainment you can overlook it. I love the blueberry cheese cake there. Also around 350 baht.

Mikes Mexican Food - off Thappyra road between Pratamnok Hill and 3rd road. Along with Tequilla Reef, the best Tex Mex food in Pattaya in my opinion. I forget how much they charge, but it isn't expensive.

Canary Bay - on soi 4 off Jomtien Beach Road. I don't know how to spell or pronounce this, but it's Alsace (combo of French/German) food. The portions are huge, the food just like Mama used to make, and the prices low (around 300 baht). My friends like couscous (I don't) and rave about this only on Thursday special. My favorite is the Cordon Bleu (the best I've ever had).

Gee, i just realized that the variety of good (to me) restaurants is so extensive I could fill up the page. I'll let others complete the listing.
