TotallyOz Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 What is going to happen to the Mosaik Apartments since the owner died last year? I heard that the ownership of all those properties he owned was split between his boyfriends and they are selling off bits and pieces. If this is happening, does anyone know what will become of the major chunk of the place? It was a well run establishment when it was in its heyday. I hope they are able to keep the place as nice as before but perhaps with better office staff. Quote
Guest alaan Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 Thanks for the info...i didn't know the owner had died. I have stayed there twice since Oct last year, whilst not knowing of his death, it appeared to be business as usual, but not sure how that can continue if there are now joint owners. I hope it does continue unaffected as I do enjoy my one week stay there four times a year. Care to expand on the 'better office staff' comment? It is just that in the years I have stayed there I have found the office staff to be very easy to deal with, and very flexible if changing dates or requiring a change in accommodation type. Have others had contrary experiences? Quote
Guest Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 I was told by one of the cleaning ladies I was friends with. She always took care of me when I was there and I did not confirm the death with anyone. I assume that she would know. I never liked the lady who ran the office and was overcharged several times for services I did not use. The security is great, the cleaning staff is great. It is only the one lady that I did not like when I was there. I did hear the Flamingo was going to do the same type of situation. I don't know this for a fact either but it looks like some construction is going on. Quote
atri1666 Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 I will stay 2 weeks and since my arrival i can not complain about anything. My final price was reduced exactly 1000 baht. Staff was waiting for my late arrival saturday night and i got the key without questions. They also told me my starting numbers for water and electric. Quote

atri1666 Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Yes i will control it. They gave me the numbers for electric and water. I use air condition rarely - only short times. Was funny all the times the boys always wanted to switch on the air condition. Wow under me fighting is going on in the bakery right now. I hear flying stools and tables and noisy shouting. Quote
