Guest aot87 Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 With the ever decreasing exchange, rate , I will need to check out other hotels for my 2 week stay. I have been informed about The Venue at Jomtien, but have also been told about new View Talay building work going on at the back of this hotel. Can anyone bring me up to date with the situation regarding this work? Further to the above, I have also been told to rent a condo in View Talay 5, if I can find one. Quote

The work should not have any effect on you if you are staying at The Venue. If you wish to stay in that area then you might also want to check Ganymede and The Poseidon. View Talay 5 is very conveniently located in proximity to the gay beach area, however it's somewhat of a trek to walk from the condo to Thappraya Road. If you don't mind the walk, then construction noise should not be a factor, even though View Talay 7 is under construction only yards away. Quote
Guest lvdkeyes Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 If you rent in VT5, Building D it isn't so far to Thrappaya Rd. Quote
Guest Astrrro Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 Patrice at P.A.T> properties outside Myview /VCC condos prorates the monthly rate so a two week stay is half the cost of a monthly. He also handles Yensabai and View Talay. Quote

Choose your poison, there are two buildings, 5C and 5D. 5D is near Thappraya Road and 5C is near the beach. View Talay 7 construction ended last year and owners started moving in last November. Quote
