Guest Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 If this is Pattaya news, can you tell us why there is never any Sunee plaza or soi day and night news, for weeks now? You didn't get the memo? You missed the big meeting last week? Sorry dude. The PGWeekly is great and the owners do a great job for the community. They are not required to put anything in it they don't want. They have chosen their list of venues and that is their right. If one doesn't like it, go elsewhere or tell them. I am sure they are open to communication. But, don't ask people on this board about their policies, we don't know. We don't know the policies of any other site. That is "up to them". But, HeyGay, I do suggest you come to the next meeting. It will be held at the regular reserved table. How about 7PM? Quote
Guest gwm4sian Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 If this is Pattaya news, can you tell us why there is never any Sunee plaza or soi day and night news, for weeks now? As I understand it, the PG Report is put together by Printer Graham from contributions submitted to him. That being the case, it seems easy to diagnose the reason for there being no news from Sunee or Soi Day Night in any particular issue - nobody sent anything to the editor. Really quite simple, isn't it? Quote

Gaybutton Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 If this is Pattaya news, can you tell us why there is never any Sunee plaza or soi day and night news, for weeks now? I can tell you why there has been no news about Soi Day-Night. I was just there only moments ago. There's no news because there's nothing to report about. The only gay venue left on Soi Day-Night is Office Boy, home of the former Niddy's Nook. Outside of that, on Soi Day-Night there are no gay venues at all. Soi Day-Night 2 still has the gay massage places and the Number One go-go bar. Aside from some very good restaurants on Soi Day-Night 2, that's about it, although you can find some very nice boys in that area if you are cruising in the evening. Quote

Don't forget about the newly opened Buffalo Boy Bar next to Day-Night Hotel 2 - I am not sure how long it will last - I have walked by about half a dozen times and on one occasion I saw one customer there. Guest HeyGay Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 Well GB I would have thought a mention of the all New Pool opening on 26th Feb and 6pm party they are giving, also Marina Inn have their all new Gay Bar in the reception, There is the all new Out side Bar just opened at the Don Plaza to comliment the the inside bar, the Terrace and the new Don Club as part of the hotel's offerings. The COCK TAIL BAR has just reduced its price for a Quick sale to 1.5 million now it's a good buy for any one wanting to start a Bar in Sunee just as a Hobby or for his new Boyfriend to run. Jim Jimmies has Closed, we don't know why yet but details ill follow soon I'm sure. Wans Bar has Just closed to be taken over by a Thai man called Quan, and is now called EDEN BAR You favorite Corner Bar is having a grand Charity Gala evening to help TakeCare. Quiz night in Ducs bar still happening and what with all the goings on at the La cage, so much going on just to start with I would have thought. Plus the Chez Vicky opening and the Mai Thai @ the Flamingo Hotel being taken over by Montecristos so much going on it would take you a few days to see it all. Just for starter. If you like a fun time try Tom Yum cute young things in there titivating you with there sexy bodies as is GOOD BOYS the all NEW CRAZY PUB as it was watered down. To name a few? Quote

That is what I was addressing. None of the places you mention are on Soi Day-Night. I missed the Buffalo Bar Buckeroo2 mentioned. When I'm in the area I'll check it out. I've already posted about Chez Vickie and Le Montecristo on another thread. Quote
Gaybutton Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Don't forget about the newly opened Buffalo Boy Bar next to Day-Night Hotel 2 Actually it's called Buffalo Bill. I went by this evening. It's in an obscure spot, to say the least. You saw one customer. I saw no customers at all. Several boys, but no customers. It's a beer host bar, no different from what you would typically find in Sunee Plaza. I think whoever opened this bar forgot about "location, location, location." I also think he forgot that if you're going to open a host bar outside the popular area, not only does it need to be easy to find (and don't think it is), but it needs to offer something unique to attract people away from the Sunee Plaza bars. If there is anything especially unique about it, I missed it. In my opinion, unless whoever opened the bar wanted his own private bar and has the money to support it, I don't see how it stands much of a chance. If you are in the area, drop by. Other than that, I really don't know why anyone would make a special trip unless you find one of the boys to be particularly attractive. Quote
