Guest Oogleman Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Just clicked my bookmark and voila - This is on the news page section. I am delighted to say the website suneeplaza.info is now back and live again. I want to formally apologise for the problem and the long downtime. Some of you know we had a huge power surge which fried the two servers this site was hosted on at our UK site. By sad coincidence, at the very moment the surge hit, we were copying the database to our Amsterdam development server and the transfer became corrupted. We have worked hard on getting the site back from fragments we had around and after a large element of rebuild think it is now acceptably close to the previous version. There may be some downtime in the future, if we find the site is not performing as it should, and we ask you to bear with us in this matter. Once again we sincerely apologise for this problem and hope you will forgive us. We have set up TWO offsite backups now in two different countries and barring nuclear war, we can not foresee this problem happening again Kind Regards Tim Stewart Amsterdam http://www.suneeplaza.info/gay-pattaya/ Quote

Guest gwm4sian Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Nicky's web site is also online: It seems that Nicky has taken over the spi website. He's a better looking guy. Quote

Kind Regards Tim Stewart Amsterdam http://www.suneeplaza.info/gay-pattaya/ The 'restored' site seems to be missing the charming little biographies of the owners that had been posted. (unless I just am missing them now). You know the ones....where each bar owner was praised to the high heavens and likened to a combination of Mother Theresa, Mahatma Gandhi and Pearle Mesta. Surely, they will be restored? Quote
PattayaMale Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 As most all ready know I am a bit confused. What happened to the New Year / Valentine's Day festival? I am happy part of the mystery is solved, but weren't there several things that happened at about the same time? Quote
Guest Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Mystery solved? I have a wonderful beach front villa in Arizona that I want to sell. Anyone interested? Quote
Gaybutton Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Anyone interested? Only the gossip queens. Quote

Guest JBee Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 Why all the lies? The site closed down, as many owners were afraid and agreed it was best to maintain a low profile. There was no Quote
Gaybutton Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 Everyone knows why the site closed. Do they? Well, I don't. Suppose you explain why the site was closed down. Quote
Guest Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 Actually I am not interested in this. There are only 3 posts from JBee and none of them are contributing to the site. All are to stir the flames of members. I am not interested in these games and this kind of poster. JBee is on moderated status until he can post at least 5 posts that actually contribute to the site. I don't care what those posts are but until that happens, Gaybutton, TLP and I will have to approve his posts before they are visible to the public. I am sure I'll get the snide remarks from the usual suspects but I really want this site to be about promoting the gay scene in Thailand and not destroying it. Any help is greatly appreciated. I do not like locking threads or removing posts and I'll leave this up. But, please lets move on. This is all old news. Quote
Guest jomtien Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 Do they? Well, I don't. Suppose you explain why the site was closed down. Well, he did explain why (he felt) the site was closed down. Quote
Gaybutton Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 Well, he did explain why (he felt) the site was closed down. No, and there are no posts waiting for approval or disapproval. I am sure I'll get the snide remarks from the usual suspects Maybe so, but you won't get them on this board. I'm right here enforcing the personal attack rules. The fact that you own the board does not mean that people get to break the rules to attack you. They'll have to do their attacking on other boards where those kinds of posts are permitted. If I see any attack posts, directed toward GT or anyone else, don't blame GT for wiping the posts. Blame me because that's exactly what I'll do and I'll also place whoever does so on moderated mode. Guest Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 In his original post he said "The site closed down, as many owners were afraid and agreed it was best to maintain a low profile." Is that the same as on the down low? I have trouble keeping up with all the new modern terms. Quote
atri1666 Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 I am happy both sites are back. They are a good source of informations. 3 days to go into the heat of Pattaya Quote
Guest jomtien Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 Is that the same as on the down low? I have trouble keeping up with all the new modern terms. I think it falls somewhere between "the bee's knees" and "23 skidoo". Quote
Guest Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 I think it falls somewhere between "the bee's knees" and "23 skidoo". LOL Thanks Jomtien. I appreciate that even though it took me a while to read up on the meaning of each phrase. At least you gave me my puzzle for the day. Thanks. Quote
