Experiences in San Jose, Costa Rica?

Hey everyone,
 

I am planning a trip with a friend to Costa Rica, not my choice, but it's a free trip. Does any have any recent experiences San Jose or Manuel Antonio? I am certain that we’ll want to get into some dabuchery during our stay, so any information about places to go, GPs, or procurers would be greatly appreciated. 
 

Neither of us speak Spanish fluently but know a few phrases. This will our first visit there, so if there other websites to reference, share them as well.

I went to San Jose YEARS ago....and been to Puntarenas on cruise ships a number of times......NADA, even when I was much younger....no escort or cruising scene I could find.

San Jose can be  kind of dangerous too....

@floridarob Thanks, I worked my magic and were going to the Dominican Republic instead of Costa Rica. Thanks for the info.

When I saw it, I looked up "dabuchery." 

It's actually new slang for smoking weed (getting "faded"). I had no idea!  😎
