Is this the place to pick up non barboy money boys? Is there any other Karaoke secret places where Thai guys are. I noticed on my walk thru Soi Bukhow there was a place called BOY KARAOKE ? Guest cdnmatt Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 Honestly, I don't think such a place exists in Pattaya. I guess the best place I can think of would be Dumnam Issan. It's not really a karaoke though, and more of a bar that puts on Issan style shows. All the karaoke's I've been to, where it would be possible to pick-up a boy, they're all for-pay. A couple times throughout the night, a good 20 boys will get lined up on stage (fully clothed), and you can off them, or just buy them flowers for 100 baht. As for the actual Issan-style karaoke's in Pattaya (the ones you're thinking of aren't really Issan-style) they're not really pickup places. Actually, they're the total opposite. These are places where they go to enjoy the night with some friends, drink some whiskey, and get away from the sex scene. The last thing they're looking for is some farang to start hitting on them, and I'd advise against it. Quote
