TotallyOz Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 I have One-Two Call. I am not in Gay Thailand at the moment. I need access to my phone for some text messages. I am in USA. I can't seem to get it to work. Do they work outside of Thailand or is that something special I should have taken care of when I was in LOS? Quote
Guest Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 My 1-2-call card does not work in the UK either. Also, when I try to register on the online service, it has the error message: "Sorry, the service is temporary unavailable right now. Please try again later". Has had that error for over a week. 1-2-call Quote
Guest Astrrro Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 Just checked,on my Nokia, there's some old text messages in my Inbox from when I used my Indonesian SIM card and I remember having access to my old Thai texts when in the States. But the 1-2-Call signal won't reach too far out of Thailand to send or recieve new ones. Quote
fedssocr Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 you would need to set your account up for international roaming. You can do that with DTAC, but I don't know about 1-2-call. Then you need to know which networks they will work with in the country where you are. Not all countries will be possible. Quote

Works here in America (California). Didn't even know I had it. Quote

With that, if you have a Thai bank account with online banking, then you should be able to top off your 1-2-Call account from anywhere roaming reaches. Quote
Guest Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Here is what I found out. I am not set up for International calls outside of LOS. However, when I turn on my sim card, I can get SMS messages. This was what I needed access to as I needed to transfer some money to the BF's account. It took me a while but I did get it to work. I had to turn off my cell phone and few times and it only worked with ATT and not T-Mobile or Verizon. So, thank goodness, Gay Thailand is able send money to his BF as I know he loves me above all others that send him money. Quote
Guest Astrrro Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Luckily with my account I get the "one time password" via email but that option is no longer available for new customers at my bank. Quote
