I don't mean this in any way as a snide remark, but I'd like to ask why, if you prefer Indian boys, you plan to come to Thailand. If you like Indian boys, then why aren't you going to India? There are plenty of Gay Romeo boys in India too. Quote

Sounds same same as asking the guy why he didn't walk to Boyztown from Sunee instead of taking the baht bus. Why come to Thailand when you could go to India? Quote
Guest gay_grampa Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 One of the downfalls of Gay Romeo is that you will get pestered by guys from countries like Ghana, India and Philippines in whom you have zero interest. You can put individuals on 'ignore' but you can't restrict your incoming messages to Thailand only. Quote
Gaybutton Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 One of the downfalls of Gay Romeo is that you will get pestered by guys from countries like Ghana, India and Philippines in whom you have zero interest. Do you get much of that? I get the ones from Ghana, but only about 1 per month or so. I've never gotten any from India and only 1 from the Philippines. Quote
Guest Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Sounds same same as asking the guy why he didn't walk to Boyztown from Sunee instead of taking the baht bus. Why come to Thailand when you could go to India? Absolutely. BOTH questions are perfectly reasonable. DON'T make the mistake of assuming the questions have hostile intent. This isn't Sawatdee Gay Thailand. The questions are just another angle on the same issue -remember some people are inquisitive. Equally, there may be perfectly good reasons for fancying an Indian in Thailand - e.g. wanting a bit of variety. Or liking Indians, but wanting to avoid India due to climate/terrorism/squalid conditions etc. On the baht bus question: The baht bus routes I know only cover about half of that 10 minute walk in any case. Someone might just point out there's a baht bus route through Soi Yensabai that we didn't know about, in which case we learn something useful. So it's a reasonable question. Quote
Gaybutton Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Sounds same same as asking the guy why he didn't walk to Boyztown from Sunee instead of taking the baht bus. I never asked that question. However, he indicated that his preference is Indian boys, so I asked why he is coming to Thailand rather than India. Isn't that terrible? Quote
Guest RichLB Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 However, he indicated that his preference is Indian boys, so I asked why he is coming to Thailand rather than India. Isn't that terrible? Aw c'mon, GB. Surely there are reasons in addition to the availability of willing boys to explain why someone would prefer Pattaya to India. Sex isn't the only reason people vacation in Pattaya. Guest Soi10Tom Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 I was at Festival Mall yesterday. Upstairs they have an Internet Cafe on the second floor that is outside in a mall cross over. You walk behind the computer screens as you walk from one side of the mall to the other. Yesterday almost all of the boys on computers were on GayRomeo. Take a look...and say, "HI" to anyone that you find interesting if you happen to find yourself in North Pattaya. Then you can be the one doing the pestering without even firing up your computer. Guest taylorsquare Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 tHANKS,I might head there tomorrow, where exactly is it? Is it up near Carrefour? Well now seen a few boys from GayRomeo during my holiday here in Pattaya. Must admit I was a bit nervous at first, but the boys were ok. Still the bars are ok for some entertainment, but now i prefer GayRomeo. Quote
Gaybutton Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 where exactly is it? Is it up near Carrefour? No. Carrefour is on Central Road (Pattaya Klang) Central Festival has an entrance on Second Road and an entrance on Beach Road. You would have to be blind to miss it. It's a tremendous shopping mall. If you are heading north on Second Road, it will be on your left. If you get as far as Central Road, you went too far. Quote
Guest lvdkeyes Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 It is right next to View Talay 6, not too far past Mike's Shopping Mall. Quote
Guest Soi10Tom Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 The Central Festival I was discussing is the old Central Festival/Big C on 2nd Road near Pattaya Nua. It is not to be confused with the new Central which runs from 2nd Rd. to Beach Rd.: although they have the same owner. Sorry for any confusion. Quote
Guest lvdkeyes Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Ah! Although it is also called Central Festival, most people refer to it as Big C. Quote
Guest taylorsquare Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Well since Firecat and GB got me hooked on Gay Romeo,I have now used it several times. At first I was very nervous who would arrive but now im ok with it. Had a guy today, looked every bit like his pics,he was my 4th gayromeo guy this week. 24yo brown skinned guy who is on holiday from Bangkok he is a bodybuilder ,and in The army(so he told me anyway). Good service and friendly guy but had that dominant type personality which i didnt mind,700 baht short time. Had another GRomeo boy last night, finished his bar then came to see me,500 baht short time.Must admit s/time is usually less than a hour. I really think this is the way to go rather than waste money on 160 b for a coca cola and pushy mamasans. Sure,I know it gets boring without going to bars but with GR you dont have to do it everynight. I admit that most boys on GR are not stunners but i give the guys i had today and last night a 9/10. Also had a Norwegian guy message me on GR ,19YO blonde guy but I wasnt interested actually. And I must say that i have had guys who are not interested in money, mostly Thai guys over 35yo who just want sex with a farang.like the guy today who was a Thai guy and seemed to get offended when i asked him"How much"? I say to all guys out there to give it a go and see what you think. There are not only Thai moneyboys on there, but guys for free, plus young backpackers from Europe who are moneyboys. Quote

Gaybutton Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Here's a question for you. On Gay Romeo, and several other personals sites, many of the Thai boys use ZA as a part of their user name. "Pattaya-ZA." What does ZA mean? I can't find the answer to that anywhere. Quote
