Gaybutton Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 In see reading the forum today, about the coup, that we have some experts at cutting and pasting. Message boards are more interesting when original thought is conveyed. They could instead refer people to the web site from which they extracted the information. Yes, we could. We don't. I can't speak for others, but I am trying to bring the facts of the situation to light. If there are news reports available, I see no reason to paraphrase them into different words when perfectly good ones are already there. We cut and paste for the convenience of those who rely on the message board for information and have neither the time not inclination to research out the news. If that is something you don't find interesting, nobody is twisting your arm to read any of it. Also, I moved this topic to this forum, where it belongs. Quote

I for one appreciate cut and paste in the current situation, particularly when up-to-date information on the ground is not available because Thai press internet media has been blocked or is overwhelmed by people trying to get information, as has happened last night and today.
