A small Gay owned Guest house for interesting and interested people who want to experience life in a Thai village just outside of Pattaya City, Thailand.

 

Located 15km South of Pattaya, on the way to Sattahip (Thai Naval base) and close to Wat Yansangwararam, Nong Nooch and Khao Chee Chan. "Mangoes" is a small private Guest house. It is ideally located for those who want to visit the local attractions (with our rental motorcycles or bicycles) but do not want the hassles of staying in Pattaya. Suitable for those on their way to Koh Sumet, Koh Chang and the rest of Rayong Province as well as those with flights to or from U-Tapao Airport going to or from Koh Samui or Phuket.

 

It is also convenient for those business people who frequently visit Thailand's Eastern Seaboard on business as it is situated within 30 minutes of major Industrial Estates and the many Golf courses in the area.

It's a nice place. I've seen it. However, even with your own transportation it's going to take close to a half hour to get from there to the gay venues. You also have the problem of taking a "guest" there and providing a means for him to return to his room.

 

Also, the only farang food restaurant reasonably nearby is the restaurant directly across from the Silver Lake vineyard, but you'll need transportation to get there and it is expensive. I was there with some friends. The food was very good, and is beautifully served, but the portions are quite small.

 

If none of those drawbacks are a problem for you, then it's a very nice, off-the-beaten-path place to stay.

Also how much would a baht bus cost to get to this place do you think.

 

Forget those Pattaya Taxi cabs,they are a real rip off,they dont want to use the meter.

My friend, if you're looking for boys, that's the wrong place to stay. If you already have a boyfriend and are looking for an off-the-beaten-path accommodation, you're fine. But you're not going to find available boys there and you're not going to find many boys willing to go there with you. How are they supposed to get back? Baht buses and motorcycles are not going to be out there waiting to take passengers into town. Even if the guesthouse provides rides, I would guess the service is not available 24 hours a day. If it is, do you think they're going to provide transportation back to town for a boy you took off from a bar and is not a registered guest?

 

A baht bus is going to cost at least 150 baht, probably more, and that's if you can find one willing to take you there. You're talking about at least a half hour ride, maybe more, each way.

 

If you have never been to Pattaya, then I urge you to stay at either The Ambiance or Le Cafe Royale during a first visit to Pattaya. They're both gay hotels, right in the center of all the action, and there will be plenty of people to help you.
