Guest rainwalker Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 I walked over to Lumpini Park at 7 AM this morning to start a running program - I will get fit, damn it. I was not out there alone. There were hundreds kicking off their day with things like Tai Chi, Yoga, stretches, walking or jogging and most were in yellow shirts, this being Monday, to pay homage to the Thai King. I saw 5 that were not dressed in yellow and whose exercise regimen consisted only of slithering. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNogR07T-GQ Quote
Guest Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 I was just at Lumpini today and there is one outdoor weight place where a lot of sexy men lift weights. I always stop and stare a bit when I go by them. There is a great deal of eye candy at the park though. The weekends are a lot of fun! Quote
Guest lvdkeyes Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 The doctor told me not to lift anything heavy, so I sit to pee. hehe Quote

Gaybutton Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 Suddenly spotting something that size could be a bit of a shock. I don't have that problem. My magnifying glass broke . . . Quote
mahjongguy Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 I've always thought that those monitor lizards roaming free in Lumpini Park are one of the coolest sights in Bangkok. Today's Thai lesson: the local word for a monitor lizard is "hia". This can be used as an insult, but you should be prepared to get your b*tt kicked,or worse. It's quite a bad thing to call someone. Hia are scary ugly, they stink, and they eat rotten flesh. Quote
Gaybutton Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 Hia are scary ugly, they stink, and they eat rotten flesh. Sounds just the same as some of the farang at the beach, to me . . . Quote
