Guest njjim Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Another note from my weekend in Bangkok. I can count the numbers of times I have gone for a massage, so please keep that in mind. I had some time to kill one afternoon, so decided to try a massage. Senso is apparently relatively new. It is on Saladaeng, not too far off Silom, near Rama IV. It is relatively small, maybe 12 guys working at 4pm. All appeared to be in their 20's, masculine looking -some more muscular. The price for the massage was in the 1000-1100B range. No minimum tip posted, but the manager told me 1000B/ 1 hr or 1200B/ 1 1/2 hr. The manager was pretty much down to business, not exacly chatty . According to him, all the boys are up for everything, which somewhat surprised me. The room was decent with attached bath. My masseur was very pleasant, not too much English, but not a problem. As I said, I cannot judge whether it was a truly good massage or not - but I enjoyed it. And he was indeed available for everything when we got to that stage. So 1050B/ 1 1/2 hr massage, 1200B for masseur +200B tip - for a very enjoyable afternoon. I don't know Bangkok prices, but too much for me to spend on a regular basis. They do have a website - sensomenclub.com Quote
mahjongguy Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 1050 house fee for 90 minutes at that kind of place is at the high end of the range but not unheard of. 1200 for the masseur is about right if you felt that he did things right. But why add a 200 baht tip to your tip? Quote
