Up2u Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 This is confusing. Another thailand visa site with a similar name. Everybody knows about the well established site: http://www.thaivisa.com Quote
Guest Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 This is confusing. Another thailand visa site with a similar name. Everybody knows about the well established site: http://www.thaivisa.com Shouldn't be confusing. Different site. Different name. No site needs a monopoly and competition breeds success for all. GayThailand, GayTingTong, Sawatdee-Gay-Thailand amoung others. Are those confusing? No one site is for everyone and there should be something out there for everyone. IMHO Quote
Guest HeyGay Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Its strange if this New site is all about the latest Information about Farangs seeking the newest VISA Information and the most Important news around now is this. http://www.thaivisa....at-t297046.html No sign of it any where. on this Thailandvisa web site. I think some one will have to at least keep one eye on the original site, to see whats really going on with Thai Visas. Quote
dapitt Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Shouldn't be confusing. Different site. Different name. Well... clearly, the confusion is that the 'new' name is so very similar to the 'older' name. One might wonder if the intent and hope is that they will garner visits and build a 'presence' from folks casually thinking they're clicking onto the more established site. Quote

Not sure that a memo from the Helsinki Consulate is the most important news. If enforced that may be a different story. We'll see what happens. I wonder how many visits the site got from that "breaking news"? If a lot, I wonder how much money was derived from the links clicked? When Breaking News is really not news, massive amounts are money can still be made. I need to start sending out Breaking News here. Breaking News: Gays in Pattaya don't spend as much as Gays in Bangkok. Quote
Guest HeyGay Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Dear Mr GT I really don't know where you got the information this is only a Rumor, the reason I wrote it, is because a friend of mine rang me from Laos saying he was refused to re-enter Thailand, because he has had more then 4 back to back 60 day Tourist Visas. I told him to fly into Bangkok Airport he will get 30 days on entry. Its happening now no its not a rumor. I don't deal in Rumors. Issued by the Royal Thai Embassy and the Royal Thai Consulate jointly. Please be informed that the intention of applicants to repeatedly depart and re-enter Thailand via tourist visa issued by the Royal Thai Embassy or the Royal Thai Consulate in neighboring countries in recent years upon its expiry, is considered as concealment of real purpose of visiting Thailand. Thus their visas applications will be rejected." Foreigners living in Thailand are advised to obtain a Non-Immigrant visa, which can be extended up to one year by the Thai Immigration Bureau. Thaivisa.com has today confirmed with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bangkok, that the extended applicant screening will take effect immediately. Quote
Guest jomtien Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Breaking News: Gays in Pattaya don't spend as much as Gays in Bangkok. It depends what consumables you are talking about. Mc Donald's delivery costs more. Barboys cost less. It's a tradeoff. Quote
Guest Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Dear Mr GT I really don't know where you got the information this is only a Rumor... I don't deal in Rumors. LOL I didn't say it was a rumor. I said I didn't think it was breaking news. I had a friend just get in today from Cambodia. He got a 60 day. It was his 10th in a row. I guess he got lucky if everyone else is being denied. LOL How strange the very word I responded to in my post seems to have disappeared now from your post "Rumor" has it lol Stranger than Fiction I was recently in Cambodia telling a friend with me he could get a 60 Tourist Visa so not to worry to be told by the Thai consulate Phnom Penh Sihanouk Bldg., Corner Sotheros Street we do not issue 60 day tourist Visas here. Its only Laos and Panang you can get them so I don't know what your friend got but unless he has a special relationship there in Cambodia I don't think it was 60 days Visa some how. May be there is a window you can apply for one some how, I have not heard of it, has any others purchase a 60 Tourist Visa from Cambodia, if so Ill go again soon. I have look in Thai visa nothing there either. Any conformation of this would be appreciated with a link. Quote
