Gaybutton Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 I'll let the article speak for itself. Congratulations Pattaya Players! http://www.pattayadailynews.com/showanc_news.php?IDANC=0000000722 Quote
dapitt Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 This is quite nice to hear! I remember when the news of the troupe's initial formation was greeted with unkind skepticism from some. Good to know that they are prospering. Quote
Guest HeyGay Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Many times I have been to armature theater in the UK and found it much more interesting, than some of the professionals, but I thought this was Niddy Nook, The Teachers baby, is he out of all the glory now that it is at last becoming a Hit. Guest lvdkeyes Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 I am not sure if I understand correctly what you are saying, but it sounds like bitchy slam to me. I hope I am wrong. Quote

Guest lvdkeyes Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 You thought wrong. I was looking for clarification, which I seem to have gotten now. Quote
Guest PattayaPlayers Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 First of all, thank you Gaybutton for posting this -- I hadn't seen the review! The Pattaya Players theater troupe continues to grow and learn (like any good organization) and has been making steady improvements since our inception over a year ago. We appreciate all the support of our audience members and sponsors and hope that if you haven't taken the opportunity to see one of our productions, that you do one day in the future. Information will soon be forth coming about our Halloween Ghost Tour, once again taking place at Horseshoe Point on October 31st. Again, thanks for the nice comments. Quote

Guest lvdkeyes Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Another bitchy slam! So, I did know what I was talking about, after all. You are the one who doesn't seem to know what he is talking about. You keep referring to Niddy. Niddy is not the one who is most involved with Pattaya Players. Quote
Guest Geezer Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Three questions: Must this board descend into the morass occupied by others? Does this board have an “Ignore” feature? If not, can one be installed? Quote

I cant see how I'm bitchy, a queeny word used mainly by silly queens, by asking if Niddy who was as far as I know reading all the posts, started this troup and there is no mention or pictures of him now. Nothing bitchy about that, over to you, as you seem to know all about being surrounded by bitchiness. Quote
Guest Geezer Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Code of Conduct: Gay Thailand membership is restricted to Adults Only. That Message Center members shall be expected to behave as adults is not an undue burden. The expected conduct standard for the Gay Thailand forums is the same as that observed everyday in society by adults in our neighborhoods, towns, and cities. It is based on straightforward mature behavior, civility and courtesy that you find in a neighborhood Pub or Tavern... As in any Pub or Tavern, an egregiously abusive or chronically problematic customer (member) shall be banned from further post participation. Quote
Guest lvdkeyes Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Niddy is the Thai bf of the one who started Pattaya Players. I am done with this conversation with you. Quote
Guest jomtien Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Code of Conduct: It is based on straightforward mature behavior, civility and courtesy that you find in a neighborhood Pub or Tavern where neighbors and acquaintances joined by occasional strangers come together to socialize in good temper, to share conversation[/b], and to hoist, in moderation, a glass of favorite beer or wine or a cup of coffee or tea. As in any Pub or Tavern, an egregiously abusive or chronically problematic customer (member) shall be banned from further post participation. This behavior IS the standard found in any Beer Bar in Pattaya. Cattiness, backbiting, bitchiness and nastiness seems to be the main form of entertainment here. And BANNED? Are you joking? I know of no one ever banned from a bar here despite numerous examples of grotesque, rude, and/or offensive behavior. Perhaps the rules here should be rewritten somehow not mentioning Pubs or Taverns. Quote
Guest HeyGay Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Stop being so toucy, who is insulting any one, we are only having a difference of opinion, I thought that is what forums are all about, nothing bitchy on my side and I have taken no offense, so whats your problem. Quote
Gaybutton Posted September 6, 2009 Author Posted September 6, 2009 whats your problem. I don't know what his problem is. But I do know what my problem is. I started this thread as a congratulations to Pattaya Players. Now it's turning into an argument. Can we please stop the arguing so that I don't have to end up locking the thread? Quote

Guest HeyGay Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Quote from paper clip"This was yet another success for the Pattaya Players, superbly directed by Chris Parsons and he was assisted by his stage manager Bob Pross". At last we have the answer, no dramas and not even a tantrums, thanks Chris, good to see your growing from Strength to Strength and not a hamburger to be seen. Quote
