Members redxs Posted March 8 Members Posted March 8 Hi guys I’m visiting Rio de Janeiro from 13 March (staying in Copacabana) and from 20 March will be in São Paulo (staying in Paulista). It will be my first time in São Paulo. If anyone is in town those dates and would like to meet for coffee, beer, beach, partying, get in touch. redxs Quote
Members redxs Posted March 8 Author Members Posted March 8 Oh… for São Paulo I have the options of staying in Ibis Paulista or Hotel Heritage. Has anyone stayed at either recently, can comment on bringing guys back or standard of the rooms? Which would you prefer to stay at? NB have visited Brazil regularly so understand dangers of bringing guys back after hooking up. Quote

I, too, know him, for he was my guide when he was 18-19 gorgeous years of age. He's a professional, personable and a cute early 30s and married to a doctor. He'll more than likely NOT deal with the sauna scene or escort scene but will let you experience the other aspects of this sixth largest city of our world. {I recommended the services of Danilo to a friend of mine a few years back. He was pleased overall.} Occasionally,Danilo is on my FB page. ...much less now than two years ago. If you're interested PM me and I could write to him if you're interested. São Paulo is one hell of a large city. That component is what I did NOT like about it. ...traveled there a few years back (4 or 5 trips). ...enjoyed the culture (very different from Rio de Janeiro.). Explored on my own + I had a gay guide (professional) each time that I visited. Was there once with a friend as well. Lucky and Marc in Calif 1 1 Quote
Shax Posted May 12 Posted May 12 Hi @redxs, hope you had a good time in your trip to Brazil. I was wondering if I could get your (and perhaps other experienced members') input on which of the two would be a good destination for a first timer in Brazil. I'm from Asia and would be making my 1st trip to South America this August. I have about one week to spend either in São Paulo or Rio, and I've been researching on which to pick. From the commercial gay sex scene perspective (not much info online on rates, where to go etc.) as well as the touristy stuff, which would you prefer? Any tips and information would be very much appreciated. Thanks!! Quote

There are so many iconic touristy places to visit. As for the rest of the questions, these have been discussed to death in this very forum. Mavica, Latbear4blk and jamiebee 3 Quote

August is winter in Rio, not as busy as other months, a lot of the "talent" goes to Sao Paulo or stay in SP and don't go to Rio....but like buttercawan said, you can still do touristy things, and there are guys in Rio, just not the selection as in warmer months. so at least 3 days in SP and make sure the days line up to be the good ones in the saunas in both cities.... Rio= Mon 202, Tues 117, Wed 202....SP= Lagoa Thurs, Fri, Sat Sauna days are dependent on the weather, when it rains, is usually shitty...if they do something like Bingo or free food could be busy. If there's a party or event in town could be slow, the guys priorities is party over work. Xclay and Mavica 1 1 Quote
Shax Posted May 12 Posted May 12 Thanks for the info guys. 5 hours ago, floridarob said: Where else are you going besides Brasil.. @floridarob I will be in Colombia before flying to Brazil. I'm still contemplating on whether it would be better to head to SP/Rio or just change directions and fly off to Puerto Vallarta instead 😅 Mavica 1 Quote
