TotallyOz Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 I went into Sundance last night and was happy to see the manager/owner has opened again. I have always enjoyed his bar and I know that when he runs a place he looks after the boys really well. They have some sexy doormen at Sundance as well. They don't seem to have the number of guys they once had but they have only been open a couple of weeks and I am sure they will build back up shortly. Good luck to them on getting this done in low season. I am sure they will succeed. I also went to 3 other bars and all seemed to have a slew of boys. I didn't see many customers in any of the bars but I was very early and I hope things picked up as the whole area was having a party that night. Anyone know how that party turned out? Quote
Guest Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 So what's the average of the staff after it's latest opening? Quote
Guest Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 So what's the average of the staff after it's latest opening? There weren't that many gogo boys. I think there were about 12 on stage when I was there. I am sure a few more were in the back. I didn't see any obviously underage there. The doormen were nice. The waiters were fine. I was not looking for a date so I did not talk to the mamasan. Did anyone go to the Quiz night? How was it? Everyone have a blast? Quote
Guest Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Did anyone go to the Quiz night? How was it? Everyone have a blast? Read over at Oogleman's that the night had some glitches. Thank goodness that all gay guys in LOS are patient and will give second and third chances to anyone who tries to do something fun. I still remember my first BBQ in Pattaya. I didn't have enough steaks for everyone. I had some old geezer try to nibble at my boys as he was so hungry. I learned from that. Either make sure your boyfried (s) are away for the events or have enough meat for sharing with everyone so everyone gets full! Quote
lexusgs Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 I took a quick look in Sundance last night along with Happy Boys. Happy Boys looked pretty dead with only a few boys. I was chatting to a guy online who mentioned a bar called Cat's Place. I took a chance and there were around 20 guys in there. Only 2 or 3 hotties though Quote
Guest tdperhs Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Only 2 or 3 hotties though It seems to me the bulk of the hotties are in beer bars. I am sure if I were in that business, that is where I'd want to work. Of course if I were in that business, I could not work in a go-go bar. My dancing tips the Richter Scale at about 6.5 at the epicenter. Quote
Guest BobbO Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 Has anyone checked Nice Boys lately? I had a great time there and found some guys I really liked. I guess you could say I was good for their business. Quote

Is that the avoid at all costs jailbait dive opposite KD or the rather more respectable establishment around the corner on the same street as Howards? Quote
Guest Astrrro Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 Stopped in Sundance tonight after midnight. We were the only customers, not too many boys but all seemed fun and energetic. Will probably go there more often now that Euroboys has lost its appeal for me. Unfortunately the best dancer in Sunee recently left Euroboys. Probably hurt business as their beer prices are now 36 baht lower without the superstar. My friends and I spent lots of baht just to watch him dance, now no point in going there even with the cheaper prices. Don't understand why a good bar messes with a winning formula?????? Quote
Gaybutton Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 Gentlemen, I have a feeling I'm about to go through a new round of criticism, but I edited out the bar name of a poster's opinion about which bar is an "avoid at all costs" bar and removed another post that had done essentially the same thing. I'm sorry, but we've been all through this on other threads. Naming a particular bar as an "avoid at all costs jailbait" bar sets this board, its owner, and moderators as a prime target for a libel lawsuit under Thai law. I'm not willing to let that possibility happen. Please refrain from posting things like that. I don't enjoy editing or deleting posts, but that sort of thing forces me to do so. Quote
Guest Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 Sorry, I shall try & keep within guidelines. I shall also be selective about which bars I visit. Quote
