According to a Gallup poll out today, Americans by a wide margin (46% to 38%) think that Trump displays more Presidential leadership and personality. I guess @floridarob knows the pulse of the American voter better than Gallup... lol. Trump Edges Out Biden as Having Presidential Personality and Leadership "Less than half of Americans view Biden or Trump as having the personality and leadership qualities a president needs. The 46% of U.S. adults who think Trump possesses these traits includes 87% of Republicans, 43% of independents and 10% of Democrats. Fewer Americans, 38%, think Biden possesses such personality and leadership qualities. Eighty-one percent of Democrats, 35% of independents and 4% of Republicans believe Biden embodies these characteristics." According to the Gallup poll, Trump is viewed more favorably by members of his own party. And more Americans (49% to 37%) say they agree with Trump than Biden on important issues. The Gallup poll, released just hours before the first presidential debate Thursday, also noted a dip in Biden's favorability rating, dropping 4 points to 37%, "his lowest since 2007, when he was unknown to many Americans," according to Gallup. Trump's favorability rating increased by 4 points to 46% since December and is the highest for him since April 2020. https://news.gallup.com/poll/646547/age-issues-working-trump-advantage-pre-debate.aspx Biden's lowest favorability in 17 years and Trump's highest favorability in over 4 years is all part of what @RockyRoadTravel refers to as "The Biden trend" lol. TRUMP 2024 MAGA

E 46+38= 84, that's percentage of Americans who are wrong ( I wanted to say stupid but decided to be charitable in aftermath of depressing "debate" tonight which was neither presidential nor debate )
EmmetK
from Biden's friend, Thomas Friedman of the NY Times: OPINION THOMAS L. FRIEDMAN Joe Biden Is a Good Man and a Good President. He Must Bow Out of the Race. June 28, 2024 "I watched the Biden-Trump debate alone in a Lisbon hotel room, and it made me weep. I cannot remember a more heartbreaking moment in American presidential campaign politics in my lifetime — precisely because of what it revealed: Joe Biden, a good man and a good president, has no business running for re-election...." "Biden has been a friend of mine since we traveled to Afghanistan and Pakistan together after 9/11, when he chaired the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, so I say all of the above with great sadness." "I had been ready to give Biden the benefit of the doubt up to now, because during the times I engaged with him one on one, I found him up to the job. He clearly is not any longer. His family and his staff had to have known that. They have been holed up at Camp David preparing for this momentous debate for days now. If that is the best performance they could summon from him, it’s time for Joe to keep the dignity he deserves and leave the stage at the end of this term." "If he insists on running and he loses to Trump, Biden and his family — and his staff and party members who enabled him — will not be able to show their faces." https://www.nytimes.com/2024/06/28/opinion/joe-biden-tom-friedman.html TRUMP 2024 MAGA
