TotallyOz Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 There is one bar in Bangkok that I rarely have interest in and that is Jupiter. The reason is I have been lied to so many times by the mamasans there and management that I have refused to go there. I broke my vow tonight and went. I will say that have some very sexy guys. They had about 30 plus very hot guys. I loved their show at the beginning with matching shorts and shirts that were all black and said Jupiter 2002. It was sexy and fun to watch. The guys that were gogo dancing were friendly and several stopped by to say hi. There really were some stunners in this place! I enjoyed the place but there was still an air about the club that I can't quite place my finger on but it just seems to me they think they are better than they actually are. Does anyone else get that feeling there or is it just my bad history with the bar? Give Jupiter 2002 a try if you are in Bangkok! JUPITER 31/1-33 Surawong Road Across the street from the main gay bar area. Quote
firecat69 Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 You could not be more right. The mamasans are the biggest liars in BKK and that is saying something. The boys are also the biggest liars. I think they have a contest for who can do the least and demand the most money. They will never get another baht from me. I agree they usually have some good looking boys and the show can be good. So if you just like to look then by all means go there. However if you like to take a boy home spend your money somewhere else!!! Quote
Guest Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 I have no idea if the Mamasans lie or not, as I took a fairly rapid dislike to the layout, the seating & their guys. So I left after one beer. Some people like the place, but it's not to my taste. Quote
KhorTose Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 I am so glad to hear all of you come to the same conclusions that I did. I was afraid it was just me. The show is good, but it is overhyped and the mamasans are the worst I have ever encountered. Quote
Guest HeyGay Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 I don't know what dealing with the Mamasan you have had the only one I can assume is you ask her if the boy you off will suck or get fckued and he said Yes then you get him home and he will not produce the good. Easy when the mamasan says yes tell mamasan if he does not the boy will only get say 800 Baht if he does produce the goods, he will get what ever your going to pay him the normal 1500 or 2000 baht for Bangkok. I find that sorts out the doers and no doers. Quote

I have yet to be disappointed in my trips to Hero Massage on Sumkavit Soi 11. I have yet to be disappointed from the guys at X boys. When there is so many guys to choose from it would take a very special guy to get my attention enough to make the above offer. I am not saying it is impossible as a true star may step forward at any moment, but it would really take an extra special guy or an extra horny night. Quote
Guest HeyGay Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 In a perfect world yes you can trust them to speak the truth, but you must understand the Bangkok Boys are more use to Tourists or guys passing through Bangkok and can manipulate the customers not a regular like you. Especially as you know what these Pros are like, you should try to fine them, the only language they understand, as they are fined for everything when they work. Because all the best guys are almost giving it away in the wash rooms of Thailand, so rather then go with Professionals, (who try what they can to get it over with and go back to their wife of girl friend), as I always try to avoid, go with a green horn, if you saw the one I had this week, you would cream your nickers, as I could not believe how super stunning he was, there was no mention of an money, after I had finished the perfect cure for "la man, he hole" not a perfect translation for a soft cock, but they will know when you say it. There are so many guys in and around Thailand just waiting for a guy like you just try to make eyes at guys in the street or wash rooms you be much more happier. Guest pingalicker Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 On my 3rd trip to LOS I offed an extremly handsome Muslim boy from Jupiter, and really hit it off. Stayed in contact via e-mail till my next trip. Took him with me to Phuket and from there to Koh Samui. I really disliked the mammasan's at Jupiter also, and would not go back, cept I had to pay the boy's off fee for the trip. I mean to tell you this boy was a real head-turner. Just as soon as we got on the plane in BKK to fly to Phuket he started bitching:"It's hot, I'm tired, on and on". His brother (who is very sweet) worked at My Way in Phuket. The first night he wanted to visit his brother and family so I said sure. He came back to the hotel at 6am stinking of scotch. Next day course he was hung over, said it would never happen again. That night he went out with his brother after begging me, came home at 5am stinking of scotch. I stayed cool calm, but his attitude was like that the rest of the trip, and I was stuck with him 5 days in Phuket and a week on Koh Samui. When we arrived at BKK, I put him in a taxi and said goodbye. I got another taxi and enjoyed the rest of my trip. Two years later got an e-mail from him asking if I'm coming back to LOS, told him I've been back 3 more times, just don't go to Jupiter. He is a great looking Muslim boy who smokes and drinks like a fish. Never will travel with bar boy again. There are boys everywhere I go that I don't have to pay for everything. I couldn't believe how his attitude changed once we got on the plane, like flipping a switch. I learned my leason. Guess I was nieve back then. Looking forward to my 8th trip to LOS Oct 1st and now have many "Leason's Learned" under my belt. Quote
Gaybutton Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 Guess I was nieve back then. Unfortunately, that kind of story is not uncommon. I realize that when you're in Thailand on a holiday you really don't have time to get to know someone before taking him on trips, taking him off for days at a time, etc. It's a risk and everyone has to decide whether to take the risk. Sometimes it's fantastic and sometimes it's a disaster. If I found myself in your situation, I probably would have given him bus fare back to Pattaya and would have told him to go stay with his family until he wants to go back. I definitely would have gotten out of that situation somehow. You certainly didn't come to Thailand to end up spending a lot of time and money on a drunk and having him ruin your holiday for you. Your story is actually quite mild compared to many I've heard over the years. But many people who find themselves in a similar situation and are new to Thailand just don't know how to handle that kind of situation and don't really know what to do. I think your story probably will help out a lot of "newbies." Quote
Guest lvdkeyes Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 Years ago, I met a boy in Phuket, very handsome, sweet and sexy. I brought him to Pattaya and, like Pingalicker's boy, his whole demeanor changed. I promptly sent him back to Phuket by plane. He wanted to go to the airport by limo. I told him, "No way". I gave him bus fare to the airport and his plane ticket and that was the last I heard of him. Quote
Guest xiandarkthorne Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 Oh dear...am I the only one here who's had happy experiences at Jupiter? I used to pop over from the Suriwong Hotel where I usually stayed, and pick out a cute lil somethin' every night and never once had a bad experience in ten years. The worst thing that happened was that I made the mistake of giving my email to one very goodlooking boy who spoke English fairly well and he started sending me emails about dead buffaloes, mama (and grandma, and papa, and grandpa) needing an operation urgently. Guest fredinbangkok Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 strangely, I have also had many happy experiences going there over the last 12 years or so (from when they were where the coffee shop is now). never had an issue. Quote
