Guest Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Thanks guys! Glad you like the look. There will be snags in the software as this is the first release of 3.0 after a long Beta period. When you see an issue, just let us know and we will work on it. Thanks for your patience during this process. Quote
Guest lvdkeyes Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 There is a button now that says "View New Content" No, it's not the same as before. Quote
Gaybutton Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 The 'multiquote' function does not seem to be working yet. For "View New Content," when you first click on it the entire message board is considered new content. What you have to do is scroll down and click "Mark Board As Read."' That will create a cookie for you that marks the whole board as having been read. Once you do that, only posts that appeared since your last visit will come up when you click on "View New Content." Guest Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 The 'multiquote' function does not seem to be working yet. Actually it does work. What you do for it is to hit the green Multiquote button for Each post you want to have quoted in your reply. Then hit the Reply button at the bottom. This will put EACH of your posts you highlighted in green in the new reply. Don't hit the direct reply button beneath one post as that reply's to that post. Use Multiquote and hit the bottom reply Button to have all the quotes listed. This is a great feature and I love it. Means much less copy and paste when you want to reply to many different posts in the same thread. FYI: We are working on upgrade. Forum will go down for a bit. This is just a sample to show you all the quotes I highlighted and hit reply at the end. Ready? If this is it.....keep it that way. Very clean and very fast!! Gaybutton Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 Actually it does work. I'm glad you explained it. Now I understand. I tried to look for it in the help files, but I wasn't able to find anything about it. I have one other suggestion. The "View New Content" link appears only at the top of the screen. On long threads it can get tedious to have to scroll back up all the time. Can you get your programmers to add a second link to it somewhere at the bottom of the screen too? Quote
