Lumphini Park

Lumphini Park is a 140-acre park in Bangkok, Thailand. It is a beautiful open space area with trails, benches and places to hand out and chill. It has an artificial lake that is very lovely. It has a running loop that is 2.5km in total length. Cycling is only allowed from 10-3.

 

The park is a lovely get-a-way from the city!

If you are in Sathorn towards the river, the Tiochew Chinese Cemetery behind St Louis Hospital and 150 metres from BTS Surasak is a great recreation area. Jogging, exercise circuit of 1.4 km, outdoor gym, lovely gardens and lots of cute Thai-Chinese lads sweating away. Disco-aerobics amongst the tombstones - and a lot of fun. 5 am to 8 pm and very safe.

Saranrom Park is a pleasant walled park across from the Grand Palace and Wat Po. This small park was designed by Rama IV and built in 1866. I recommend Suan Luang Rama IX park. It is worth a visit. The main entrance is about 1km down a soi that runs back from the left end of Seri Center(which is just south of the larger Seacon Square)..ie east of Seri. Seacon is a large mall on Srinakarin road between Bangna and the airport. The park is about 240 acres and has a huge lake in the middle with leafy surrounds and running roads and large cycle track. The park closes at 7pm. Adjacent and north is a large reservoir called Nong Bon with boating facilities.

On Google Earth and etc, you find the park at 13:41:15 N and 100:39:41 E.

How about some details? What should we expect if we go there? What time of day is best? Since Seacon Square is quite far from the popular hotels in Bangkok, where do you take the young man? How many are usually there? Is it a gay cruise area or a money boy cruise area?

There are wooded areas with good density east and south of the lake..between the lake and the stadium area. At dusk, many young people around...and seems cruisy. I met one lad there who was attractive and wanted to talk a lot. He lead me to a bushy area and did our thing comfortably. But this place is walking distance from Seri Centre which usually has action in the ground floor and 3rd(?) floor toilets on the right hand end. That's a spot where you might wish to go with someone rather than enjoy in the park. I was there once when as soon as you walked into the toilet, a lad standing on the toilet seat in a cubicle would jump up and invite anyone inside that he liked or looked rich.

I did not mention this place in connection with boys being available, but more in answer to GT's request for information on places with similar attractions he mentioned as being available at Lumpini. When you compare the two based on those attractions, Rama IX is superior to Lumpini.

 

If you are looking for cheap, good-quality sex, then Saranrom Park surround roads are the place to be...but you will need a car or cooperative taxi to pick the cream of the crop. There is a detailed thread on this park somewhere on this board I believe.
