TotallyOz Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 I have really enjoyed the new Spice Magazine since the updates to it. The magazine is very colorful and informative. I think the new owners have done an excellent job with it. Luckily, I have been in Thailand a few weeks and have the chance to pick up the new issue when it comes out. When I am away, I don't have that opportunity. I have recently started to use http://www.zinio.com to download magazines to my computer for me to browse when I want. As the guys at Spice seem very savvy when it comes to the net, I hope they consider doing something similar in the future. I know I would be willing to pay for that access when I am away. Keep up the good work guys. Quote

Eat Me is a long established and very pleasant restaurant off Soi Convent between Silom and Sathorn. Food is mostly fusion Asian and Australian with an extensive wine list. A bit pricey now but worth it for a special occasion. Quote

Guest wowpow Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 http://www.spicemag.net/ The magazine has a lot online. Gaythailand - I just had a look at Zinio and am very impressed. The Zinio reader comes already installed on Macs and on my 20" of joy (Mac G5) it is easy to read the crystal clear print. I downloaded an old MacWorld mag. With western magazines mostly horrendously expensive in Thailand, I am sure there is a big future for online magazines. It's also worth mentioning that http://www.stickyrice.ws webzine is moving apace and has loaded all their archive articles onto the new website. It looks like an interesting site to keep an eye on in tandem with RICE. Quote
