Gaybutton Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 Thai banks always close on July 1 for a mid-year accounting day. This year is no exception. All banks in Thailand will be closed Wednesday, this week. ATMs will be working, but if you are expecting an international money transfer, you won't get it until Thursday, July 2. The banks will close again on Tuesday, July 7 for Asarnha Bucha Day. Quote
Guest Patexpat Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Not just the banks will close on the 7th - many businesses including my own will close that day ... bars too I guess? Quote

Guest fountainhall Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 Went to my bank yesterday (Monday) knowing that there would be holidays today and tomorrow. It was closed! Quote
