I wish I had seen this post before my trip yesterday to BKK. I'll stop by on my next visit. Cute boys? You are always welcome to post here. Quote
Guest fountainhall Posted June 27, 2009 Posted June 27, 2009 You are always welcome to post here That's great, GT! Now you will open the floodgates for commercial premises to advertise free. Seems odd that posters are generally not in favour of personal ads section, yet one of the site's owner (I assume that's correct) is happy to permit commercial ads without charging them! Quote
Gaybutton Posted June 27, 2009 Posted June 27, 2009 one of the site's owner (I assume that's correct) is happy to permit commercial ads without charging them! I'm with GT on this one. We have always allowed gay venues to post ads here without charge. Those 'floodgates' have been open since the very day this board came into existence. As long as the advertisers don't go overboard with it, why not? It brings more customers to the gay venues, and maybe helps to keep them from ending up closed due to lack of customers, and also lets the gay community know that these venues even exist. It also lets people know about it when special events are being planned. I regularly post Casa Pascal's menus and ads for La Cage, without charge. Nobody has ever objected to those. Why are you objecting to this particular ad? I'm sure if we suddenly get so many ads being posted that it interferes with the nature of this forum, then we'll do something about it. For example, Candlepspa posted his ad on both this forum and our 'Gay Asia' forum. I don't think that is necessary, but so far I don't see that it has caused a problem. Quote
Guest Candlepspa Posted June 27, 2009 Posted June 27, 2009 I'm with GT on this one. Dearest GT & GB, Really want to show my greatest gratitude & appreciation for your support. One of the company missions for Candle Paradise Spa is to provide a hassle-free peaceful environment for gay gangs to relax & revitalize themselves. U know we have been facing pressure from all walks everyday. We hope the gay community can be united to fight against the adverse economic condition at this moment as we believe every bad things will be overcome soon. Bless Candle Paradise Spa Quote
Gaybutton Posted June 27, 2009 Posted June 27, 2009 Really want to show my greatest gratitude & appreciation for your support. No need. You run a legitimate gay venue and you have our full support. In all honesty, I was not aware of the existence of Candle Paradise Spa at all until you posted. Next time I'm in Bangkok I intend to drop by and give it a try. I hope everyone else who reads this board does the same thing. Quote
Guest buckeroo2 Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 Thanks for giving the gay gangs that 15 minutes extra time in your promotion - hope they put it to good use. Such easy pickins' I'll pass on any "gang bang" jokes. Quote

Bless Candle Paradise Spa Ok guys, I have looked for you yesterday and walked for almost an hour without luck. I just couldn’t find you at all. Started raining big time and I just gave up. Hidden Paradise is the perfect name lol, but still we gotta find you somehow Quote
Gaybutton Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 I just couldn’t find you at all. Started raining big time and I just gave up. Don't you carry a mobile phone? Their number is 02 251 1009. Why not get a taxi, call their number, and have them explain to the taxi driver where to take you? Quote
Guest fountainhall Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 Ok guys, I have looked for you yesterday and walked for almost an hour without luck. I just couldn’t find you at all The website has a good map, as well as photos of several landmarks. Just print out that page. Quote
Guest stef Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 Don't you carry a mobile phone? Their number is 02 251 1009. Why not get a taxi, call their number, and have them explain to the taxi driver where to take you? I asked about 10 different people who had no clue where it was and probably thought I was nuts. I saw the photos and their site and didn't think of bringing the darn map as I have never had any issue finding something like that, and I just gave up as it started to rain like crazy. I see there is that Parking entrance : http://www.cpspa-bkk.com/images/Parking%20Entrance.jpg Does it look I can find a massage place there ? I 'll give it a try again today but I am not sure how successful a business can be there . Struggling to find the place and ending up have a great massage might just be worth it. I went to B&N instead yesterday and it was great. Will see tonight Quote
Guest fountainhall Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 Does it look I can find a massage place there? I believe Candle Spa's problem is that it's basically on the wrong side of Rama 4 where there are no other gay establishments (at least ones that I am aware of). I agree the photos on their own are really not much help, since none seems to have any sign with the name of the Spa on it. And even with both the photos and map, I can see how it might be difficult to locate. Add to that, some people will miss the map/photos on the website because they are on the "contact us" page, whereas most websites have a special "location" page with very specific directions. The owner should take a leaf out of the Heaven Sauna website. That's another unusual location, but the photos and directions could not be more clear. That said, if they really do give great massages, I'll happily venture forth with the map and give it a try. Quote
Guest Candlepspa Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 Thank you for your interest in our Spa. we think it may be easier if you get on a Cab and ring to us at 02-251-1009 or 083-299-1010 so that we could direct the driver to our paradise. Get into the car park & turn right. You will see our sign at the end of the corridor. We look forwards to providing you with the most relaxing enjoyment soon. Candle Paradise Spa Quote
Gaybutton Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 We look forwards to providing you with the most relaxing enjoyment soon. Apparently they'll need it after the frustration of trying to find you. Why not also post a photo of that sign at the end of the corridor or, better still, do something to make it perfectly clear how to get there? Obviously the directions you are currently providing are not good enough to make it easy for people unfamiliar with the area to find you. You need to work on that. Next time I'm in Bangkok I'm planning to give your spa a try, but in all honesty I'm not going to bother if it's going to be a major pain just trying to find it the first time. Quote
Guest fountainhall Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 we think it may be easier if you get on a Cab and ring to us at 02-251-1009 or 083-299-1010 so that we could direct the driver to our paradise Easier, perhaps. But a waste of money if someone is visiting the nearby Night Bazaar and could easily walk from there - if they know exactly where to go. Quote
Guest stef Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 I remember seeing this parking Entrance and just walked by as seriously, It doesn't look anything to me.. just a dark entrance parking garage. I would be afraid to get in there , be afraid something would jump of me, mugged or even be raped I am kidding of course. I saw this as it says on the sign " City Court " but a sign pointing inside for Candle Spa would really help I will come back in few weeks and will definitely come. Stef Quote
Gaybutton Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 will definitely come. Especially if it's a 'happy ending' massage . . . Quote

Guest fountainhall Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 I have still not been to this establishment. I am told they do give a very good massage but, as other sites have pointed out, the masseurs are clothed throughout and it is not a 'happy ending' place. Massage is what you pay for and massage is what you get. So what "Real Man Spa" means, I have zero idea. Quote

I was washed in the shower by the masseur then I received an excellent and thorough massage by a naked masseur and was given a very satisfactory 'happy ending'. Maybe it depends on the masseur you choose? Quote

Maybe it depends on the masseur you choose? Do you remember if it was the massage venue off Rama 4 not far from Lumphini MRT station - situated on the ground floor of a rather dark car park? I understand there are two 'gay' Candle Spas in Bangkok - but do not know the exact name of the other one. I visited the one on this thread (but did not avail myself of a massage) and have spoken to several people about it. The management state categorically that their masseurs only do massage. The owner of the shamelessmack website went, describes it as a "trousers-on" massage (as opposed to those in his "nude" category), adding "there was no hanky-panky". Another site states it is a "non-sexual" massage with "no happy endings." If that is wrong, then perhaps their policy has changed. Quote
