As for hotels, I suggest either the Malaysia or the Pinnacle. Both are easiest to get to by car in that Bangkok traffic. Personally, I prefer the Malaysia.

I've been trying to understand that for years. I have no idea why things like that so often go unreported. Lumphini Park has not been much of a gay cruising area for years now anyway, so I don't know why anyone would bother going there anymore. I know nothing about Sanam Luang.

 

What I do know is it's best to stick to places known to be safe, during hours known to be safe. Most of these nighttime attacks occur between 2:30am to 4:30am. That's not a safe time to be out cruising for boys even in Pattaya.

I am not sure how many of you are aware of this but recently there has been cases of farang gay guys being beaten up at Lumphini Park and also Sanam Luang Area by gangs of thai teens and also there was two cases of gay farangs been beaten up at the area outside the Pan Pacific Hotel at Silom at night and another at Silom Soi 6 last Tuesday.

 

Many are taken home and given Drugs via Nipple sucking, then robbed from out side Pan Pacific also.

What your Not Saying is they have been beaten and Robbed, this always happens a few times Including Pattaya, where it is rife this year in the low season and this is one of the worst years I can remember in 20 years, the good thing about Cruising around the Palace is so many people around, they even have a Police road block for cars, to extract money from the drivers there sometimes, but the boys are still hanging around jumping in and out of cars, as it has been happening for so many years.

 

I walked pass an Army Guard post the other day there, and the Officer tried to chat me up it is wild there some times. Hope you have luck, with a nice dinner in you before the action and if you really want to see the best show in town go to XBOYS Soi twighlight its not to be missed, only place you can see this sort of action in the world, not like the others. and I have seen them all many times. only need to buy one drink 250 baht its a must. after dinner.

 

I think the best place to eat and its so cheap is THE BALCONY and watch all the world walking by Soi 4 great tasty food there for next to nothing.

 

May I suggest you also go to Sapon Kwai area, BEHIGH Go Go Club by the EMBASSY Hotel and better still the Karaoke's there, they have some very handsome guys in there offable, if you get there early even though BEHIGH is off and On these days you might be lucky.
