TotallyOz Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 I made my way into Sunee Plaza last night for a bit before I went to some clubs and discos. The streets were not as packed as I thought they would be. The stages were more bare than I expected. I did not get time to go into all the bars but I did get into 3. All 3 were fairly quite and even though they had boys on stage, there were not as many as I have seen. Most of the boys said that times were hard and few customers. The farangs I spoke to said that the boys seemed to be hurting with the economy. Several boys I have been friends with for a while were not around and I was told they went home to their family. It seems that when times are hard, the family is always there to help. That is the case for some but not all. Villa Rouge had more guys that the other 2 bars I went to. They have a nice staff and tons of waiters and servers. I guess I'll see over the coming weeks how things change and I hope for the better for all the bars and I hope more customers come into the area. I'll try to get to Boyztown in the next few days so I have a point of comparison. Any bars or clubs that anyone wants a report on? I'm here for a bit and am happy to check them out. Quote

Guest pingalicker Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 Although I don't arrive until October 2nd, I'm always curious how my favorite bars are doing. How about Happy Boys and Krazy Dragon? And how about the gay beach area on Jomtien beach? Sometimes the Farang on the beach are great eye candy also. Oh, those Russian boys! Quote
Guest OfficeMax Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 Happy Boys closed for 3 months for owner/boss to take a holiday. Quote
Gaybutton Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 Happy Boy is supposedly closed for three months, which means it should be open in October if they reopen. There is still plenty of eye candy and plenty of available boys at the beach. Bars may come and go, but the beach goes on forever. Quote
