TotallyOz
I went to get a 15 day extension at Pattaya. Normally, I had to come back in the afternoon. When I went this time, I paid the money, the passport was stamped with the new date and it was returned to me with a thank you. Total wait time, less than 7 minutes. Amazing! Guest wowpow
Wow are they giving 15 days in Pattaya with no special reason? In Bangkok you only get 10 days.

I was just there and it took no time at all. However, I only went as I had a visa run planned with Express Visa. They said I would sit with the driver on a nonsmoking van. When i got there, they said the van was smoking but I could roll the window down. I told them No and left. I went to the office a few hours later and got my extension. It was 15 days for sure. Guest gonefishing
On a Non-Immigrant (90 days) you can get a 15 day extension (1900 baht) followed by a 7 day extension (free).
Gaybutton
Yesterday I was in the immigration office with a friend. He had been ill and had a statement from his Bangkok-Pattaya Hospital doctor. He had actually already over-stayed by a day or two, but had been too ill to go to the immigration office. He produced the statement and was granted the 15-day extension. They did not fine him for over-staying and did not place an over-stay stamp in his passport.
