Guest naughtybutnice Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 I have been reading the http://gayboythailand.com site for years and personally I find it one of the cleverest written sites around and was thought of well before 'blogs' became the vogue. It is updated daily and if you are ever feeling a bit low it is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. It is worth reading back through the site's archives as there is some hilarious stuff there and gives a great insight into life in Thailand through the eyes of a Farang. Quote
Guest Jason105 Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 Three of my favorites! Gayboythailand is one of the first sites that I visit (along with this one, of course) and it rarely fails to bring a smile. The author's adventures in LOS and his frequent visa runs to Malaysia are always intriguing snapshots with a sense of humor. He is quite a good author and his novel (which you can read on the site) is one of the things that got me "hooked" originally. His relationship with his Thai lover is an ongoing story filled with warmth. For what it's worth, highly recommended! RiceQueenDiary is also filled with interesting observations about the boys, the language, the daily challenges of living in LOS. Lots of insightful info. He goes beyond the usual tourist-y things and provides an eyewitness account as well as lots of useful links. Also highly recommended! I just recently discovered Shamelessmack and the guy is a fount of info about gay massage in LOS. He has created an incredible resource that categorizes massage places by types of masseur, style of massage, cost (of course), ambience and other stuff that helps when trying to choose someplace to get a massage that fits your needs. He also has taken on the task of going to bars and reporting so that we can have a reasonable idea of what to expect. He has also developed a rating system that allows you to know what types of guys are available at various venues. Truly a work of dedication! All of these are worth frequent visits! all the best Quote
Guest Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 Same with me. GAYBOYTHAILAND is usually the first site I go to. RICEQUEENDIARY is also compulsive reading & SHAMELESSMACK is a good recent discovery. Also read the following, but it's not to the same standard as the others: http://bkkmindscape.blogspot.com/ Quote
